777 Serviced Based Failures

Featured Replies

Will the t& have serviced based failures? I would like to assume it would, and what about the high quality manuals from boeing? I'm really only interested in the QRH, hope it will have them aswell.

PMDG always provides excellent manuals, they are needed to operate something as complex as the 777 anyways.

All features you see in 737NGX minus 2d panels you can expect to see in 777.

The service based failures is a great tool to have , brings the PMDG aircrafts to a new level of realism in terms of taking care of the plane and treating it like an asset of a real company. PMDG knows this is a great feature,or else they wouldn't of put it in, so im sure it will continue into there new product ranges.

Im am also really looking forward to the 777 FCOM's and QRH that will be supplied with the plane, the 777 is my favorite aircraft but I am surprisingly unfamiliar with the technical aspects of the aircraft and this is something I want to change as soon as possible.

The 777 will not be less of a product than the NGX is - if anything it will be better and contain everything the NGX has and more.

I like that phrase "and more" ;)

Except the 2D panel.

Sry, as a 2D panel lover I just had to....

To be honest when im flying the NGX ,I wonder how it could get anymore real, I just cant wait to see how PMDG are going to elevate the experience with this brilliant airplane.

I hope we can service the aircraft via some mx MFD options vs making it a simple FMS setup.

That would be cool- imagine a screen where you could switch between different blueprint angles of the 777 and all the areas would be able to show up about what needs maintenance or fixed. Kind like A2A does with their planes just on a lot larger scale.

Thanks!

I hope we can service what needs servicing (even if it is within the FMS) rather than just "service all".

Just a curiosity, has anyone had anything actually fail on the NGX with service based failures enabled?

You can service each system individually.

Oh? I didn't notice, I just saw the service all option. I will check it out later.
