well i just seen screenshots and the cockpit looks awful, i seen a post by someone who bought it and he says most of the buttons only work in the 2d, and this pic doesn't look promising.

 

I'd jump and buy it, but it's really the exterior model thats bugging me. They're saying the liveries available are HD, and I'm sure if you count pixels they are, but they just look bad. IMO the nose looks wrong too...Anyway, except for the shot Bob just showed I think the VC actually isn't terrible looking...

Back to waiting for the Aerosoft one...

If Wilco is proud of this product, and certain its customers will be happy,

then WHY aren't they here with BIG detailed shots of it, inside and out??

 

Not to mention, why aren't they guaranteeing our satisfaction, instead its

like some sleezy car salesman who gives you a QUICK glimpse of the

product, hoping to grab your money and escape quickly before the

bumper falls off the thing.

 

I'm sick of this, and we the flight sim community should simply refuse to

do business with companies that won't guarantee their product and our

satisfaction.

 

Flight1 has made a successful business with this practice, no reason

others can't do the same.

Well at least Wilco is still always better than AFS design... I bought their Airbus collection mainly as I wanted to see how their A320NEO was, and to have A340-200 & A340-500 to merge with Wilco panel as theirs does not include -200 and -500 versions.

 

Well, in fact although product page claimed that it includes both -200 and -500 models, in fact -200 model was totally same with 300- and -500 same with -600, just different paint with different amount of windows for them -.-

 

Also models don't even work correctly, they have black squares on cargo door locations and developer said that he will start working to fix them in 2 weeks...

 

I wasn't expecting anything more than lower freeware quality, but that product was full of lies and rubbish totally.

 

Just as an example that there is much worse companies out there than Wilco.

 

Currently my no business with list:

 

1. AFS Design: Wrong information on product page and general horrible quality.

2. Abacus Some of their programs are ok, but other than that its mostly very bad quality.

3. Ariane Design, horrible customer support.

If a PMDG product had ever failed to satisfy maybe, but they are the gold

standard of quality and satisfaction by which everything else is measured

in my book.

 

I don't mean to imply that every product should be PMDG, often you can get

the job done with a Ford rather than an Acura or BMW. What I detest is the

lack of full disclosure before you buy. Why should someone here have to go

fall on their sword for the cause, as it were, and buy the product so the rest

of us can see reasonable pictures.

 

Its all solved by the company just doing like Flight1 and letting you get your

money back of course, then no one risks anything and we can each decide

if the product is for us...

But they still dont guarantee their product or your satisfaction. Please dont think I'm defending Wilco. I' m very unhappy with them. But the logic is skewed. I generally don't trust any FS developers because I've had nightmares with all of them! They are all so worried about the pirate boogy man,, their afraid to offer money back gaurantees. Dont be jumpin on me PMDG fan boys! They all are bad with the exception of FLIGHT1 and the developers who choose for them to represent their products!

PMDG offer more than enough screenshots and videos for people to make up there mind , something that was lacking for the CRJ NextGen Deluxe, and you can see why, its a bad product, and some people are only going to find out after they purchase it,

I have just wasted 23€ for this CRJ... Please don't purchase it ! This is a total waste of money.

 

Wilco should feel ashamed to release such a product in 2012.

 

Everything is missed from the outide model (not even a glass effect on the windows, just empty holes) o the virtual cokcpit which does not reflect reality....

 

Wilco devs, please call JRollon for advises....

Since the 737 Evo, Wilco really puts an honor point in doing ugly graphics.
