WR269. Thanks. Reinstalled everything from scratch, including FSInn and the Migration Tool. Everything works.

Thanks a lot!

I had decided not to go for P3d v2 and go for XPX but again XPX + R7 260x will cost me almost 300$ , if FSInn / Squawkbox / Ivap works with P3d v2 without any extra expense then I may just go for it.

Though I still want XPX rather than P3d .

I have tried to get FSInn working as described in this thread by running p3d2 in legacy mode using the migration tool version that is officially released. I'm not been able to find the referenced 2.0.1.461 release.

The problem with this approach is that p3d2 consistently crashes when launched in legacy mode with a fault in fsx.exe. This means that I cannot get any vatsim client to work with p3d2, which is a real shame :(.

I hear that the ivao client works, so perhaps all have to stick with that platform until the new vatsim client is complete. I tried to offer my services as a developer to the project to help get it done more quickly :-), but I haven't heard back from them so I probably went through the wrong channel.

My images, didnt upload.

Let's try that one again..

Quite willing to help anyone wanting to learn how to use FSInn on Vatsim, so feel free to ask.

There are a couple of tools you can use to ensure that most of your AI is recognised by FSInn.

One is called AC_ICAO 53 which when run will check all your AI and create the correct registry entries on the sim. This tool was created to fix in part the now defunct aircraft repository.

In addition there is also a tool that will extract all the registry entries created by the above mentioned tool which you can then install on a remote PC if you are using FSInn in network mode.

If you cannot find these tools let me know and I will put them in dropbox for download.
