You can have a full refund if you are not satisfied with the product, if that helps Ian :P

Just Flight has a full refund for Downloded Software? I thought it was for Unopened Boxed Software only.

Clarification Please,

Glen

Just Flight has a full refund for Downloded Software?

Yes. Excellent customer service in my experience. I had a whoops with a d/l and bought something I already had. They were happy to exchange it.

Saw that yesterday... now that I know it's from CLS I might be tempted. I rather like their MD-81.

I tried it tonight and don't care for it to be honest. The realism just isn't there for me in the VC around the gauges etc. May I have a refund or credit at Justflight?

Thanks, Phil

Any plans to make a Quiet Trader or Quick Change variant?

Possibly :P

Thanks

Yes please, Phil, could you elaborate please?

Well I've been flying the PMDG J41 and it's incredible as far as the realism goes. With the 146 It just didn't feel real enough to me. The panel is very unrealistic on some parts especially around the FMC and gauges. The sound seemed to not be very good either...these are just my subjective opinions and maybe I'm wrong. I just feel that I wont fly this plane when I have the PMDG J41 and IFLY 737 and the Carenados. I guess since it's 2012 I was expecting the level of detail that those planes offer. The PMDG J41 boxed version is $39.99 on Jr.com and it's 3x better than this product. The BAE VC seems like the CLS MD 81 VC...I'm just not impressed with it. That's not to say you won't like it though! After all there is no other option at this time for this plane! :)

To be fair I didn't get into this plane very far. I just new right away it wasn't my cup o' tea. Maybe I expected too much. On a positive note there are some areas really well done the throttle quadrant and pedestal, chairs, the overhead is quite nice to with a lot if "workable systems." Also the customer service has been good and I requested a refund which apparently will be honored. I appreciate the hard work that went into creating this aircraft and really wanted to love it!

Oh I forgot to mention. I took about an hour searching how to bring up the icon panel,,,I never found it! Not in the manual, not in the tutorial either. Maybe this added to my frustration. The icon panel opens doors, gpu, and pops up all other panels. Even the tutorial said to press the GPU to get started. Problem is....the GPU is on the panel. Maybe they should explain how to bring up the panel. It's kind funny at this point! :)

thank you for your replies, Philip. I can see your point now.

Since Martin said he would refund us I went ahead and bought it. Hmm, plane looks good but that is about it. I was also looking for that secret icon panel but it was nowhere to be found.Where is it ? I was actually looking for the autostart thingy but I couldn't locate it.

I noticed that even with batteries off ,every system off the engines are running lol and you can actually fly the plane. If you click on views and you can pull up lots of panel but they are all messed up.

Yuck.

I'm looking forward to picking this one up soon. (I've got enough stuff to play with at the moment! Lol) but from what I've seen the 146-200 does look good.

Apologies for the frustration caused. I spent a considerable amount of time getting the content in the manual right for our 'target market', but somehow this was the one item I managed to miss. We are in the process of getting the manual updated with a few additional sections to cover those areas.
