August 11, 201213 yr I agree with FScamp and others that the airplane is a dog in roll and yaw. Nigh on impossible to make a river visual to DCA! In the aircraft.cfg I changed aileron effectiveness to 4.4, rudder effectiveness to 2.4, and enabled the spoilerons. These are WAG values, but they seem good when flying. Everyone is smarter than me about these things, but shouldn't the spoilerons already have been enabled for this model? Is this an oversight?
August 11, 201213 yr More about the spoilerons in aircraft.cfg.-- With spoilerons enabled, I get spoilerons in the animation and on the main panel, but the clamshell opens with left aileron. Go figure. With spoilerons disabled, I get spoilerons in the animation, but no indication on the panel, and the clamshell behaves. I don't think there's aerodynamic function with spoilerons disabled, it's just for show.
August 11, 201213 yr I just had all engines flame out and all power and avionics quit at 17000. Don't know if I did anything wrong?
August 12, 201213 yr I had a lot of fun this weekend flying the 146. I hope they will fix the rudder and aileron sluggishness. Also I can't seem to use my com radio without the engines running, and it would be nice to be able to safe a flight with the panel state. Now if you load up an approach all flags are on, it's cold and dark, the engines are running, but nothing works, including the Hyd pumps. If they fix the issues it will be a great addon. FPS are great, like the default cessna172

December 6, 201213 yr I purchased the 146 from a major 3rd party vendor (who presumably has a relationship with Justflight). According to Justflight it is the customers onus to contact the third party to ask them to contact Justflight to obtain the update. Justflight=Lazy.
December 6, 201213 yr Same issue with me I purchased the BAe 146-200 from another vendor. I sent a message to the vendor and hopefully they will update the downloader to the new version because my download for the product expires soon. December 6, 201213 yr I think you guys should wait and not bash Just Flight. Just Flight delivered the updated plane to all the vendors and it´s responsability of them, the vendors, to contact you. I too bought my copy from a major 3d Party Vendor and already got contacted by them to redowload the plane. No worries about download expires too, as your time will be refreshed because of the new version for sure. Just be patient. And of course, Thanks Nortmar for the news. The update is most wellcome :Peace: Flavio Cardoso - P3Dv4.5 HF3 Win 10 Pro 64Bits - i74960X 4.5ghz - ASUS Rampage IV Black Ed. - Corsair H150i Platinum - 32gb Ripjaws Z - ASUS RTX 2080 SUPER SC - MCP 737R 2015 Virtual Avionics
December 6, 201213 yr I wasn't bashing Just Flight they have always helped me quickly and professionally. I was just confirming that if the product was purchased from a third party site you may want to contact them to get the update posted. I am patient. No harm no foul. December 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member Taver, I think he was referring to dighost's bizarre comment about us being lazy  Due to the amount of files that get updated by the service pack and the additional content (146-300 + 5 liveries) we felt it made a lot more sense to update the product installer itself, rather than releasing a separate service pack which would have made things more confusing for all concerned (especially from a tech support POV!). If we release a service pack for any of our products we provide a third-party version of the installer on our website so that you don't have to obtain it from the place of purchase, however as this is an updated product installer we are not able to do this for the 146. As far as I'm aware this is fairly common practice in the FS world and obtaining the updated installer from retailers like SimMarket shouldn't be difficult as I imagine they will simply update the installer links in your account. Thanks Martyn Martyn - Just Flight
December 7, 201213 yr Why reopening an old topic and not start a new one? It happens so (too) often. Jos
December 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member Nah, it's actually good thing that people bring up old topics so more information can be found from one place instead of it being scattered all around.
December 7, 201213 yr I've updated to the 146-300 and it's not bad, but I thought the -300 model used small early generation glass gauges (EADI / EHSI) ? This -300 model has the same cockpit as the -200 in terms of gauges etc.
