Im curious which airbus will be the best

Featured Replies

theres really no reason to have all 3 airbuses...

black box, airbus X extended, FSL A320

So when they start coming out, keep us updated here of which one is the keeper. And how about the BlackBox one with all of its recent updates, is that worth getting, would anyone recommend it?

I'll definitley get the Airbus X extended it looks nice and will be a great introduction to Airbus for this Boeing fanatic. When FSL is released will grab it as well to support them. BBS just doesn't look as nice to me as the others but there's a review on the front page to help you decide in that regard.

Im going to buy the Aerosoft Extended then the FS Labs one.

Probably going to buy Aerosoft Extended one and then later FSlabs which will very likely be totally superior.

I'm also curious .... and until all versions are available and we can make informed decisions based on fact and experience, this topic surely has no relevance to the topic question of which WILL be best?

Surely, the answer can ONLY be - time will tell, ONCE all the relevant facts become known. Only then will this be a relevant forum topic.

To the original poster, my apologies if I have come across as harsh - I have just wasted a day flying CRAPPY class with Jetstar to Auckland and having to come back NOT SO CRAPPY class with Air New Zealand to answer a similar "What if" question.

Well no, The Black box one is poor, The Aerosoft Extended one is going to be good based on all the Extended addons, but only the captain side works, the FO side is just a mirror to name just one thing, so that leaves FSLabs who are like PMDG so it's easy to see why FSLabs will be "the one". Because it will be the most in-depth one out of them all. So the "fact" is thats how they will be and is based on "fact and experience" from how Aerosoft and FSLabs work.

Interesting comments, but they appear to be based on assumptions of what the final product will be like, rather than facts related to the FINAL RELEASED product. I accept that it is easy (or perhaps, even worse - downright lazy or foolhardy) to make assumptions based on hearsay or past records, BUT is it right to formulate an opinion on what you do not know at a certain time in space when all the facts are still not known?

Perhaps I am getting too old and logic does not prevail anymore. What age are you?

Yeah FSLabs is going to be the plane to fly looks like. Were all just waiting for it..

I read that its going to have a complete 2 person working cockpit. And the one other thing I read is how the fuel moves around in the plane which is really non-needed detail but it just shows how in depth they are going with that plane. Im expecting every little knob and switch to do something!

Jerad, take a look at the presentation given by Lefteris if you haven't already done so!

sure the PMDG aiplanes are nice - but you have to realize that the dude who made your ever so lovely NGX is the guy whose making the FSL A320. And its an A320 which makes it even more exciting atleast to me and all the other airbus junkies lol.

Have to correct you there Jerad - Lefteris left PMDG before they developed the NGX, he was involved in the Md-11, 747 and 737 NG.

Eleven pm my time .... 12 pm lunchtime, your time (morning). I'm tired and you are obviously also tired. Check your spelling and correct it, if you want to have an intelligent conversation. And to give you a hint ... change "there" to "their" and "passed" to "past".

"Silly me" ..... yes I think so.
