September 5, 201213 yr Well For Me it would be the following: 1- EFB, 2-ECL, 3- Ground Taxi Cam, 4-RAAS, 5-Weather Radar(Although we heard that it is not possible with FSX (I mean will not be accurate) but for me PMDG are capable of everything and they will overpass the limitations of FSX). 6- Fuel Dump System, 7- Of Course the Terrain awareness and warning system. 8- in the Graphics to add the Engines/APU Blur Effects . September 5, 201213 yr i wont fly this 777 by the book. I prefer learning by doing for this aircraft and the thing i am really looking forward to is the first time something unexpected happens. Tebin Ulrich

September 5, 201213 yr Accurate or not, WXR should be there. Why? Jack DeMarre Just an earthbound misfit My Current Flight Sim Setup: She ain't much to look at, but she's got it where it counts. My New Build: Phase 2 - Project Planning. Working on justifying expense to wife.
September 5, 201213 yr Author I'm not hoping for a Weather Radar one bit, I'm almost sure PMDG will not implement it. If they do then all the better. Same goes for the Taxi Cam in the 300's. - Luke Pabari
September 6, 201213 yr Why? Even if it does paint all clouds I can still pick my way through storms in a foggy soup without having to rely on the active sky radar map. I don't have much use for the terrain display but I have it on due to SOP. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
September 6, 201213 yr Why? It would be great to have a weather radar and it is on my wish list, but as far as I know that it is not possible to design a wx radar that displays the weather correctly, as simconnect does not have any functions that reports accurately where clouds and precipitation are. so what is the point of having a weather radar just for display. I am really hoping that PMDG find a solution or workaround to bypass fsx restrictions. I'm not hoping for a Weather Radar one bit, I'm almost sure PMDG will not implement it. If they do then all the better. Same goes for the Taxi Cam in the 300's. Believe Me you will be needing a Taxi Cam. this is a very important feature since it would be almost impossible to taxi or park the plane without seeing the Taxi Marks. Remy Sarkis BAW1031 UAE1525
September 6, 201213 yr I would be interested to see if they would be able to implement the pitching moment on the ground if you do the flight control check(elevator) too "aggresively", relatively speaking of course. I have seen this in the -300ER Level-D sim. Not sure if this is felt in the shorter -200LR/ER. I also noticed the captain do a very deliberate and slow movement of the controls while jump seating in the flight deck on a -300ER out of EGLL. Also, I would love to see how they implement the trim for speed function for our joysticks and yokes But I am sure, if any one can, then PMDG can Dinshaw Parakh

Not really, just like every other aircraft, you get to know how much room you need for turns and just get to know the aircraft. The exterior view is perfectly fine for taking corners/parking on stand. The 300 isn't ridiculously long that it's impossible to taxi. - Luke Pabari

Wouldn't be unrealistic to switch to external view in order to be able to park or taxi (Centering the plane on the Taxi Line)? I hope that they do implement this feature. it adds realism and it is a very nice feature, in addition of being an Eye Candy. Remy Sarkis BAW1031 UAE1525

September 6, 201213 yr It's a flight simulator.. I totally agree with you. After all it is a PC Simulator Game. But wouldn't you agree with me on this point. I mean wouldn't you like having this feature implemented? Honestly we cannot compare PMDG to any other FS Developer since if you use their add-on once, you're stuck. Especially after the 737 NGX. There are other developers of the 777 on the market that are including this feature although I’d rather not talk about them since for me PMDG are the best of the best, and even the apple to apple comparison doesn’t work here since the standards are very different. September 6, 201213 yr Guys, everybody has to cut some corners, here and there, for the sake of of time, cost, and performance (and sometimes other stuff like support cost). Now, PMDG being PMDG, they found a way to cut a lot less corners, there are still some corners that appear to be cut, because either they were never there to be cut or not in the first place (weather system re. WXR), tradeoff of loss of functionality/development cost would be too much (something like ALTN gear release system maybe, or animation limit possibly, or HUD/glareshield visibility with LLts on; ARINC424db in the past), or because they just might be too performance heavy even on current systems. Anyhow, PMDG goes above and beyond what MS imagined when they released FSX could be possible. Lets cut them some slack on things that even they cant overcome (WXR, animation limits, maybe EFB, taxicam) --Peter Fabian
