Would have to have access to cherry picking components that go along with such an endeavor. Your main board especially. Or you could do like most overclockers and just try your luck. September 14, 201213 yr From my tests, gonna need 7GHz is more like it. I say go for it, overclock that thing, have some fun with it and let us know how it goes.
September 14, 201213 yr That's not what overclockers do. People who pretend to be enthusiasts "try their luck" ones who do it the correct way, even while experimenting, don't. Yes, they do and while they may know the results they want and the methodology for achieving it, there is no guarantee, ever, of reaching that goal. You try and see if you have been graced with a good processor. The only ones who can cherry pick those are the manufacturers, maybe reviewers, and possibly people with too much money on their hands. None of those category's describe the vast majority of overclockers. He is the one who has to take responsibility for possible (or even likely) damage to the processor at the necessary voltages. http://www.nordichar...hits-6-ghz.html We are all connected..... September 14, 201213 yr Hi, That's not true, I'm getting way better than 20 (Set Unlimited in P3D, using an external limiter set to 30) in the NGX and I'm running a resolution of 5760x1200x32. http://www.rmfc.us/photos/KBOS1.jpg You're not going to get what you're asking for because it's simply not possible. 20fps at KBOS is about all you're going to get unless you turn your settings all the way down. September 14, 201213 yr Hi, My system has been running at 3.8GHz since I built this system, I do not run some insane overclock, I don't have to. P3D ver. 1.4 gives me the performance shown above and I have NO Heating issues... Well y'all have the unicorns of flinging sims enjoy.
