September 20, 201213 yr The H100 won't fit, no matter what, so... What is the best air cooled heatsink that will fit the Antec 1200? Please help as I am helping a friend build a new FSX machine, and have to reorder. Kind regards,
September 20, 201213 yr I've got an Antec 902 V3 miditower and I've got a big whopper of a Noctua NH-D14 in there. Make sure it blows along with the airflow in the cab.
September 20, 201213 yr I have the 902 v3 and I use Zalman Products, I do know that you can fit a CNPS9900ALED a well as the new one which my friend is using in his Thermaltake Chaser Mk1 the Zalman CNPS12X. I would recommend the CNPS12X as it literally dumps heat. Zalman CNPS12X: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118097

Please help as I am helping a friend build a new FSX machine, and have to reorder. Kind regards, I have antec 1200 v3 and noctua nh-d14 too lol! I think this is the best combination, I managed to reach 4.9 GHz with my 2700k, and max temps with fsx are 61c. I could go for 5GHz, but still thinking if i should go for 1.4+ vcore... I hope it's helpful for you P.S. Stephen, can you tell me what is your vcore at 5GHz? Maybe that can help me to decide... Thanks! Edited September 20, 201213 yr by B247NG Zeljko Budovic
September 20, 201213 yr I've read somewhere there is a way to fit the H100 into the 1200, just Google it. It will even fit into my 902 if you take the HDD cages out, and you can still leave the two intake fans on the front in. Arjen Vandervelde
September 21, 201213 yr Yes, there is no doubt, noctua is the best. I was to curious, just reached 5GHz with noctua, and my max temps with fsx was 65c(all cores max temps: 53, 62, 65, 61). Max 74c with 1h Prime95. I think i'll stop here becouse of vcore. Anyway, i think this is excellent oc on air cooling Zeljko Budovic
September 21, 201213 yr Antec 1200 + Noctua = Kewl. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
September 22, 201213 yr Author Possible change of plans. Instead of changing heat sinks, we are looking at changing cases. Has anyone been able to install the H-100 push pull in a HAF-942? When I google the question, that seems to be the most common recommendation. I have the case myself and love it! What do you think? Kind regards,
September 22, 201213 yr There are very few cases that can accommodate H100 psuh pull without interfering with the VRM heatsinks and the CPU 8 pin power connecter. A case that I am certain can accommodate the H100 push/pull is the Thermaltake Level 10 GT.

September 22, 201213 yr I have the 900/2 which is not far removed from the 1200 and I managed to fit a Titan Fenrir TTC-NK85Z without any issues. And it has done the job well. Rick Almeida
