October 1, 201213 yr I agree, Bill. FRF also has a version Of KATL. I think it will serve my purposes. Bill W.
October 3, 201213 yr Not having too much luck with this addon. Whilst parked at NW Freight stand 6 I notice some missing textures on pallets, and several of the towers were messed up. Maybe I got an iffy download, soe removed the addon, redownloaded it, tried to install and get a 'Cannot register this product'. I've sent an email to Imaginesim, hope they reply soon. Haven't had this much drama with a payware addon airport for a while, and I'm in the 500's in the scenery library. Perhaps I should have kept using their old version. Sigh... Cheers, SLuggy I do not have a signature. Why are you reading this?
October 3, 201213 yr "Whilst parked at NW Freight stand 6 I notice some missing textures on pallets, and several of the towers were messed up" Did you do screenshots of the problems you seen? I agree, Bill. FRF also has a version Of KATL. I think it will serve my purposes. Bill W. How old is this version from FRF ? I did not see KATL listed on their web site?? October 4, 201213 yr Author I'd hate to see this thread ending with a somewhat negative impression of the ImagineSim KATL 2012. I have found it excellent and with the addition of MegCity Atlanta photoscenery, it's become a favorite destination for me. We all have our different tastes, but my guess is that the vast majority of those who have bought it are very happy with it. I consider it money well spent Cheers Ian
October 4, 201213 yr Don't get me wrong, I'm almost certain that it's my download that corrupted (although I would like to hear back from Imaginesim support soon, nearly a day now), not a bad scenery. I've got 10 or so other Imaginesim sceneries that are all at least very good, and most of the newer ones are excellent. I'm thinking of re-installing the original KATL and seeing if the elevation problem is here too. If it's not, I might try and find the flatten file and see if it works with the new one, when I get it reinstalled. Sounds like trouble brewing, eh? Cheers, SLuggy I do not have a signature. October 4, 201213 yr Can you post screenshots of your elevation and other problems previously reported? What MSFS KATL Gate "numbe" were you parked at (Northwest stand 6) when you observed the problems? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
October 4, 201213 yr Can you post screenshots of your elevation and other problems previously reported? What MSFS KATL Gate "numbe" were you parked at (Northwest stand 6) when you observed the problems? I can't post screenies (although I have sent them to Imaginesim support, no reply yet), but NW parking 6 - ramp cargo is the position I noticed the missing pallet textures and CRTL tower windows. If I select RWY 10 and slew vertically I see a 'default textured' runway under the 'proper' runway, and as RWY 10 is not in the default scenery it must be related to this scenery. I can't reinstall the KATL V1 because whilst I have the downloaded file, Simmarket now don't show the code for it, replacing the link with the V2 file and deleting the old activation code. Sometimes these problems just feed on each other. Still can't activate V2 for some reason as 'my details could not be processed.'. Damn. Flying from PANC to CYUL tonight. Cheers, SLuggy I do not have a signature. Why are you reading this?
October 4, 201213 yr Ok, I found NW parking 6. I will try checking it out later today. I looked around at NW ramp6 and new runway 10 (and slew upward) .. but it looked ok ... but then again I may not be looing at exactly the same area as you did. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
October 4, 201213 yr 2007 .There are possibly some updates. Possibly some updates? Like I said "I did not see KATL listed on their web site." Do you see it available for download on their web site (FRF Studios)? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
October 4, 201213 yr While I do like Imaginesim sceneries, I am very disappointed with their overall support. When the new KDEN was released, I purchased it soon after. It's a very nice scenwry, BUT, all of the runway touchdown zone markings are incorrect - what I mean is (and you can see this in the screen shots on their website), the first touchdown zone markings just past the runway numbers are missing on all the runways. I sent multiple emails to the developers pointing this out, and they basically refuse to correct the problem because they are busy with other projects. If that's the case, then every person who bought KDEN should get some money back on their purchase. I don't like paying full price for a supposed high quality scenery that can't get the basic runway markings right. Those are a big deal when trying to land. I hope they fix this soon - it's been long enough this has gone uncorrected. Until they do fix it, I won't be buying any more of their products. October 4, 201213 yr FS Global 2010 runs with FS9 & FSX, unsure of more recent versions. I use 2010 with both sims on same machine. 2 separate installs. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Did you have the original ImagineSim KATL installed and, if so, do you think the new version is a sufficient improvement to justify the cost? Regards, Bill
