September 29, 201213 yr I was wondering what would be the shortest Boeing 737-800 flight in the united States? I would like to start doing some short haul flight's and would appreciate it if someone could look into this for me. Thanks Corey _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Corey
September 29, 201213 yr I don't know about the US, but in the UK, the shortest I know of is a maintenance flight from Bristol to Cardif. Its is about 20 miles. Paul Smith.
September 29, 201213 yr According to Flightaware, this is the shortest 737-800 flight at 25mins. http://flightaware.c...e/flight/SCX111 Here's the list of 737-800 flights sorted by duration: http://flightaware.c...ed_ete;sort=ASC Shaun OrtolanoTronAviation.com

September 29, 201213 yr There's a ton of them...even more if you include the -700 KCLT, KCHS, KSAV, KBHM to KATL KFLL-KMCO KFLL, KMIA-KTPA KELP-KABQ KDFW-KAUS KBOS-KJFK KMKE-KMSP Just off the top of my head. There are plenty more Matt L.
September 29, 201213 yr Unless it's no longer current, a very short commercial flight is 'across the bay' from Oakland to San Francisco Int. (About 5 minutes.) Not sure if 737's are used though....
September 29, 201213 yr Here's one, KSEA to KPAE http://flightaware.com/live/flight/SWA8505/history/20120925/0525Z/KSEA/KPAE \Robert Hamlich/

September 30, 201213 yr There's always the first flight trip from KRNT to KBFI. About 5 miles as the crow flies, though I think a basic checkout regimen is flown before landing. September 30, 201213 yr Southwest does a lot of short scheduled flights on 737: KSAT-KHOU 35min KHOU-KAUS 34min KORF-KBWI 31min KEWR-KBWI 28min KOAK-KRNO 37min
September 30, 201213 yr http://flightaware.c...0435Z/KOAK/KSFO LOL That flight was probably just used to transport a plane to another airport (like a ferry flight) moving planes from airport to airport without passengers. But seriously, where is the fun making such short flights?
September 30, 201213 yr Taking off, handflying to the destination and landing on a visual approach 15 minutes later ... seems like a fun time to me vatsim s3
September 30, 201213 yr I did a Soutwest flight from KPIT to KMDW that was just under an hour long in a 738. Not a bad flight. Samuel Scully
