Anyone else think Rob's departure will be the coup de grace for AS? I've not been active on their forums in quite some time, but he did quite a lot to turn things around.

 

Nope - the AS bus is like a gorgeous queen who promised Airbus prosperity but 'died' years ago when the villagers revolted and burned her castle down. Now she roams the fs9 world, undead but still drop dead gorgeous - some can become her followers, others go mad and run away screaming epithets.

 

Trust me if they aren't dead yet not even Rob's departure can end them.

Sorry but I have to say this. The fact that this thread has been where it's been without being locked proves we can robustly discuss sensitive issues like adults, well.. mature ones anyway ^_^ .

 

It isn't damaging to venture into critical thinking my friend, it's often quite enlightening.

This is someone's house as well were we are guests. If someone starts a ruckus in my living room I deal with it according to my rules. I expect nothing less here. Topics get closed no big deal.

If that is the case, surprising that the Bulgarians haven't blocked avsim (as national laws must apply on the net as well). But good they don't, because if they did most websites would be blocked.

 

Anyway, instead of you being rude as well, do you really think it will help? If you are nice to me, I am nice to you, but the same apply to the mods, the forum members, and anyone in general.

 

I volunteer sometimes as well, but I do never discriminate people, shut people or treat people, because it's not the way we behave here. As I have a friend who is police, he said many rules of avsim were "illegal" by Bulgarian law(and that the mod was very disrespectful) when I explained to him what happened while he was at my place for a few drinks.

This is not the problem as avsim is not bulgarian, the problem is the behaviour of some mods/members.
