Hi All,

 

Does anybody know what happened to the ORBX Web Site? I can not get on the ORBX Forums and now their wed sote is not showing up in web searches--yes their links to buy stuff at SimShop still work--but no ORBX site seems available.

All links work fine for me,

I was talking about not being able to log into the ORBX Forums at ORBX---the problem is now solved--maybe fixed by ORBX Tech guys

Unfortunately this tread is an example of why its preferable for folks to actually post a subject title that provides enough information that it doesn't waste folks time.

 

Please provide fuller, robust titles.

Sorry to have wasted your time!

This post was an effort to get information as to why I had suddenly, and out of the blue lost the ability to log on to the ORBX Web site Forums (ORBX does all their technical assistance from that place) (SimShop, the retail vendor of downloadable ORBX products also refers you to that site rather than helping you themselves) ---when you lose access to that site you lose all access you lose all technical help.

I have been working on a arduous issue with the ORBX Software for three days and was beginning to make some headway (thanks to the ORBX moderators and staff, and users---UNTILL I lost the capability to log into their forum--as well as losing a direct listing of their site on both Google and Bing, an ability which is always available!

I made my post here because people respond quickly and with knowledge---as you can see PRIOR to your complaining post, Five!! (5) People posted helpful posts which immediately gave me direction in terms of solving my problem.

I am a retired pilot and lifetime flight simmer, and have been using AVSIM and the AVSIM Forums for more than twenty years ---the site and the forums are a fantastic part of the flight sim world---But there are always some visitors who need to find a way to be trivial and hypercritical and unhelpful!

Dorn you seem to have missed the point? The issue is about clear communication, which as a retired pilot you must be familiar with? ORBX doesn't communicate anything of your problem as a title and Bryan was one of the responders before he pointed that out in a second post?

 

We're all FTX fans here so if you'd taken some time to outline your "arduous issue" maybe someone could have offered some advise? ....and BTW have you got it sorted?

I have been working on the problem on the ORBX Wed Site Forums for days--I have as yet not been able to sort it out---you can find the long thread on ORBX on their FTX tech help forum.
