PMDG 777 Is slowly losing it's fire

Featured Replies

PMDG is taking such a delay, I think that the company is risking losing some potential buyers.

From reading multiple topics on FAcebook, and Flightsim.com, simviation, people are starting to brush the 777 idea of their shoulders, and idnoring it.

I think a lack of UPDATES is also another problem.

However, I support PMDG for their work, just a little observation of mine.

Maybe i'm the only one..

I think you might be the only one.

I see no loss projections on the T7 even of they take another 6-12 months.

When I mention it, people just brush it off their shoulders, and get quite mad.

get quite mad

I think this is a really stupid thing to get mad over, to be honest. I want the 777 more than anyone, but I'm not sitting here getting mad.

Let me show you around.

Even without statistical data, I can confidently state that the NGX was among the best selling software ever published for MSFS.

That thing took nearly 4 years to complete, 4 YEARS, [we are just about approximately a year during development of the T7]. During that time, not a single flame was lost by the Team. You see the thing I admire about PMDG is that, even though they keep us in the quiet during development, they make sure to patch us in on what we missed during the home stretch, unavailing a plethora of previews, that the loyal supported would have waited patiently for. I don't know about you guys, but it often feels like we have been rewarded whenever PMDG releases their birds, maybe it's because during development so many hints have been thrown, hints that leave us speculating, speculation builds anticipation and anticipation is replaced by satisfaction come release day.

I guess it's Marketing eh, and PMDG has seemed to master that.

With that being said,

people are starting to brush the 777 idea of their shoulders, and idnoring it.

That's simply not true, you may be checking the Abacus facebook page.

I'd also like to close by saying that no one man is an island.

Regards,

These posts are funny. You know you'll buy it the day it's released.

I have no doubts believing that people are saying that. But when it comes to release - they'll all go out and buy it no questions. Sorry but we don't need all these Screenshots now - because of the NGX they don't need to prove anything. They've updated us a lot more than people realise - just not by putting out massive ten paragraph updates, Ryan's done a great job answering as much as possible. To be honest - the only thing we don't know about for sure is the Taxi Camera's for the 300. Everything else we know about..

The same people that just brush it off when it's mentioned now will be some of the first to buy it once it's available.

I think this guy is making some vain attempt to coax PMDG into giving out more info on the T7 =P.

He will be chomping at the bit come release day.
