Rule Britannia!

Featured Replies

I had many happy holidays courtesy of Britannia Airways as a young boy, so when I came across this in the AVSIM library, I couldn't resist taking her out for a test drive!

Sadly, this beautiful livery is no more, the Britannia brand having been amalgamated into the Thomson brand as part of World of TUI, so now all of Britannia's fleet wear the standard Thomson Airways colours.

Indeed, great shots! The livery fits the sky/clouds perfectly especially in the first picture.

I don't usually comment on pics of large or military aircraft--not my cup of tea. Having said all that, these are really cool shots and a great repaint. Thanks

Thanks all!

I remember going on a Boeing 737-200 in that livery. Was a great livery I think.

My first ever flight was in a Britannia 737

if they'd ask the aviation community they would ruin a few airlines less
