December 13, 201213 yr Hello Mathew A “Room with a View”, Gorgeous view and nice setup. . If I may suggest. I would move the subwoofer from the top of the PC case. Too much vibration might eventually harm some PC components. (Like HDD and Optical Drives, loosen cards, etc.). Cheers. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
December 13, 201213 yr That's some awesome property as well as scenery. Love it! "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

December 13, 201213 yr Wow, this thread has made me reinstall FTX NZSI (haven't bought NZNI yet as I thought I wasn't interested so much in NZ; but I am now, after this thread!). I personally would not put my 'pit there as I too would find it too distracting and too much light, but wow, I love your view and garden!
December 13, 201213 yr Could have problems with sun in your eyes unless you're facing south! Fantastic view though..
December 13, 201213 yr Author Thanks for the comments guys... Now I see why you left cold, foggy and gritty Halifax! But I will always miss Halifax, that place is a great place to live. I will hopefully be back there for a visit in 2013
If I may suggest. I would move the subwoofer from the top of the PC case.
Done :good: Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
December 13, 201213 yr I envy you for the views, Matthew. While I'd say that there's some ergonomic downside with having a bright and alive background like that, it's actually a beautiful place. Had any birdstrikes yet? ^_^
December 13, 201213 yr Had any birdstrikes yet? When I was younger, a golden-throated sparrow of some sort actually hit my suburban house window. I found the poor thing outside underneath the window ledge. I carried it inside with gloves, and fed it some seeds. It suddenly became very alert and jumpy, so we decided to release it. A bit later, it succumbed to brain damage. We put the deceased bird into a Skippy peanut butter jar and buried it underneath the tree from which it finally fell. It was a sad day, as an innocent creature was killed by an artificial man-made structure (being an aviation enthusiast, I'm clearly not anti-birds or anti-technology).
