I don't have any Sibwings aircraft, but have heard great things. Worth getting?

I only have the birddog but I love it! I've spent lots and lots of hours in it and with ORBX sceneries doing pattern work. My favourite GA airplane in FSX together with Reaiair Legacy!

The Bird Dog is one of my all time favourites and the Safir gets good reviews if rather a rare bird? The Pitts also got many excellent reviews but is a tads specialist for me. At that Sale Price and with a month long offer I'd buy your 1st choice and give it a whirl. If you like it the offers on til Jan15th so time to buy others.

 

Waiting for the AN-2 and if it's as good as the Bird Dog it'll get my purchase.

Check the detail on the Bird Dog because it's more than one variant and comes with 4 (I think?) excellent cockpits with superb "wear and tear". http://www.sibwings.com/ssbd.php

PS if anyone's read "The Ravens" about FAC's in Laos during the VietNam war there are repaints of Ravens BirdDogs in the link above. Great read even if you don't want the model. ....NOW if someone could create that theatre with it's scenery, AI fast jets and some AAA and small arms fire and make it work in FSX/P3D I'd be queing up with my CC ^_^

I got their Pitts, and it's great. I also wait for the AN-2, and this might be just the right time to get the BirdDog as well!

I only use Simmarket for FSX addons. Don't like spreading my credit card info around to many different webshops.

That's why I use Paypal, but when confirming on Paypal, there was no amount shown, saying only that I would be able to confirm purchase amount before ordering. When I clicked continue, it immediately charged without taking me to a confirmation page on the website, so there's some mix-up in the connections between Paypal and the Sibwings site.

I bought the Bird Dog a minute ago and everything went as expected.

Don't forget the Saab Safir, a strange and wonderful old trainer! I have that and the Bird Dog, both excellent aircraft!

Well, the Pitts was worth the trouble. What an excellent model all around. Just a ton of fun to fly, and very nice touches of realism, such as the bouncing needles on the gauges. Going to enjoy this one a great deal.

Yeah, the refund took a little while (perhaps due to the connection between their commercial site and paypal), but they were quite prompt in responding to emails and queries, so I appreciate their customer service. And I fully appreciate the loving attention they put into their planes. I've long loved the Birddog, and the PItts is certainly just as nicely done. I haven't ever really had any interest in the Safir, but I may get it anyway during the sale just to support such a good developer.
