Even if this was true, its a bit ridiculous and i have a real hard time beleving that you would be so foolish rob.

Microsoft writes code too. They may just work from home, but i heard something about an office in Redmond.

 

I believe there are several other software companies who also have these newfangled 'offices'.

The difference here is rather obvious. Microsoft is a biilion dollar company with huge infrastructre,alot of employees, servers etc.

 

 

Besides, Ryan (and i think it was also jason) already explained how PMDG works . Im not impressed by robs show of granduer... the only thing that will impress me is the final product. period.

Sometimes I'm sad, this time of year is hard when you don't live near family, so start up the NGX and I flew to EFKT from Glasgow to see Santa. It's more than a sim!

The woman in the photo is about 25+ years older than my daughter... And I would hope my daughter picks an honorable profession (defined as one other than law....) :lol:

 

So it would seem that whomever you are getting the information from is pumping you full of Bravo Sierra... (You've posted some other stuff here recently that you attributed to some un-named source that was complete garbage as well... I'm seeing a trend...)

You seem to be putting quite a bit of effort into parsing my words... I'm not sure why... But yes, since you wondered, I DO need an office from which to work. Offices have become quite common since we upgraded from an agrarian economy- and they are quite the norm.

 

Also: You apparently misunderstood: The woman in the photo is a patent lawyer... She is not a receptionist... (And what business is it of ours what job/position a person takes?)

 

And lastly- I'm not conducting my affairs to please or impress you. (I hope that doesn't disappoint you. LOL) I conduct my affairs so that PMDG provides the best products possible for all of you *and* so that our partners at Boeing and a number of airlines get the best possible value from their relationship with PMDG. On top all this I am a partner in a firm that consults on operational and safety issues to some of the largest aviation operations in the world. (This firm is in the same building and also does not happen to have any Patent Lawyers employed as receptionists, no worries! )

 

Doing so in my Hawaiian shirt from the back of a '72 El Camino parked in the Taco Bell parking lot (so I can leach off the free wifi- a trick I learned from Bryan York...) was causing our clients to question the value of the services the firm provides... So naturally I elected to upgrade to an office.

I hope your answer puts all the speculation and BS to rest. I am very happy for PMDG and what it provides as a service, I have purchased all of PMDG's products and will continue to do so in the future.

 

I don't need to know what you had for lunch today, if your belt and socks are the right color etc. LOL. There are individuals out there who expect and have been accustomed to receiving the most minute details of someones life and occupation thanks to FB and twitter and they've come to expect it here in the forums.
