I've read differing reports that range from, 'can't see much difference' to 'it's worth the money...' I can't remember reading anyone saying it was a fantastic addon.

Looks nice they aren't showing their product well enough. Need to see some before/after screens and comparisons to UTX night enhancements.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was expecting... Thanks for the reply though.

Just looking for that one opinion that makes me want to part with the cash, but i'm yet to find it :)

In the below video i have UTX lights on + Experience X installed. The white small lights are from experience X and the yellow/red are from UTX. Hope it helps a bit to see the difference between both effects. Sorry for the FPS lag. In this video i have ENB series on.

X-Plane11

GTX1070 8GB Vram - i7 4770K cpu @3.5GHz Quad core - 16GB RAM

I own it and dont use it anymore because I find the performance hit too great when running a high res 3 screen setup, I have to scale the lights right back for decent performance which looks naff! it might not be the case on a single screen

Also bought it some days ago but the performance hit is too much for me too. I run single monitor.

If you're looking for smooth running in FSX, than 3D city lights in general are a bad idea.

FS9 lights FTW! :LMAO: just kidding :Peace: :P

Run it on a three screen setup and wouldn't be without them. Of course, if you enjoy night flying at its best I would ensure your monitor(s) are set up correctly and possibly getting ENB, FXAA or SweetFX too but not a requirement. Personally, I've not had any performance drop or issues and they enhance night flying. The images I've seen to date don't reflect how good they are.

Does this addon slow down ones system due to GPU or CPU demands? Most people have a bunch of video card overhead to spare but if it adds strain to the processor, forget it.

I got a GTX690 4GB and still get a performance hit so I guess that answers your question. Too bad because it looks great at night.

What sort of system are you running? This look pretty darned realistic to me. I'm interested. Thanks for the find.
