The Broncos beat themselves would be a better way to put it. It's the good and the bad of the NFL, depending on how you want to look at it. The one and done scenario or sudden death. The best teams don't always make it. The Broncos would beat the Ravens 9 out of 10 times if they played 10 games this year(so would New England for that matter). However, a few mistakes here and there and teams like the Ravens can make it farther than they really should. I love the NFL, don't get me wrong, but sometimes the format bites you too. And, at the same time, makes it so exciting too.

Ha! Ha! How'd such a Beantown fan end up in T town? I'm a former T-town resident. I used to live just south of Woodland Hills Mall. When I lived there I was a STL Cardinals FB fan (Terry Metcalf days) because anyone from Oklahoma hated the Cowboys!

 

BTW. Coach B was quite a spectacle by his absence to the press after the game. Just another lack-of-character hash mark on his legacy. I lived in the Philadelphia area during Spygate!

 

On a related note, I was listening to ESPN radio today for a bit and there was an argument raging on who was the worst "bad guy", Belichick or Ray Lewis. It was pretty much a tie, and I agree with that! Welker's wife pegged R Lewis to a T. I loath seeing how someone like her gets admonished for being truthful. Yes, I am now a Raven's fan, but R Lewis is not my idea of a hero or role model. Ravens will do fine without him next year. He's needed in the Super Bowl because the left coast Harbaugh is just as hard edged!

I'm a Washington fan, but was rooting for Payton Manning this year... By far one of the greatest legends of American Football. Sad that he had the game won, only to watch a safety whiff it away.

 

 

Nice paint job on the plane, but nothing can be done to make that thing look remotely attractive.

 

 

Former Tulsa resident here too. Kind of agree with Rightseat though. It would be nice to have it in a combat sim to shoot it down after they had their way with the Colts. Oh well, there is always next year. Go 49ers.
