I'll be happy to move this to the hardware forums for you.  I think it will have a better chance there of getting answered.

Sincerely,

Dude, get a yoke. Forget joysticks, this is no Airbus.

Saitek Cessna Yoke. Best yoke I've ever had! I prefer it over the Saitek Pro Flight range by the way.

I think you should go for the Thrustmaster HOTAS joystick and throttle. Good for both combat and commercial airplanes it is robust, it feels good in your hands and liable. I personally have it and its great.

and anyway for the NGX, upcoming T7 or the cool 747  you can use the joystick, anyway few seconds after you take off you press the LNAV/VNAV and than you just play with the FMC or the lights untill you land :)

Have Fun,

thanks everyone for im between saitek pro flight yoke (http://www.materiel.net/volants-manettes-de-jeu/saitek-pro-flight-cessna-yoke-system-80873.html) and saitek ps34 (http://www.materiel.net/volants-pads-manettes-de-jeu-sieges-de-simulation-de-vol-et-automobile/saitek-ps34-x52-pro-control-system-27260.html).

im a bit affraid of logitechs because the problem that i had with attack3 which was uncontrollable aeliorn trim i mean the yoke of the ngx was stuck in one side and mouve slightly alone when im not even touching the joystick.

Forget joysticks. I bought the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke w/ rudder pedals a few weeks ago, haven't touched my joystick since. Really happy with it!

I have a Cyborg EVO (ambidexterous) Joystick that I use with my Left Hand (right hand on keyboard/mouse/throttle).

But then again I'v always been an Airbus fan... and don't have any Airbus addons for Flightsim because I'm too fussy about how good an addon has to be before I buy it. (I'm waiting for FSlabs with eagerness).

If you want comfort and don't have a full cockpit setup with MCP's, Overheads, CDU's and throttle quadrants with radio panels, then you will probably want your right hand free so it can grip the mouse to interact with your MCP's etc while maintaining control with your left hand on stick, unless you are an Autopilot manager man who flies with the CMD engaged from gear up to minimums.

Yoke/Pedals/Throttle works too (yokes work fine in either hand).

With a Joystick you can get the twist-top thing that works as a rudder control. Yokes generally don't come with such a thing, so Pedals may be required to save you from sticky situations in crosswinds... and to let you steer the aircraft at all on the ground.

I had the Sitek X-52pro. I loved it and used it for about six years. When it died and the NGX was on the way I got the Saitek Yoke & Throttle combo. The yoke does not have as many buttons and I find myself using the keyboard more but it is more sensitive and you can fly smoother. The spring on the bottom of the stick makes it difficult to make those small adjustments but it is easy with the yoke. Even if you try to change the settings with the stick it is difficult to get that sesitivity without a terrible roll rate. (Must have pedals. I have Saitek and have had same set for years.)

Thanks,

Ron

Thanks, Ron Fields

I like the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for its inexpensiveness, precision, and stiffness. I use its twist axis as a tiller with my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, which is only decent. It has lost precision, and feels cheaper, less realistic, and noisier.

Those with generous budgets should consider PFC yokes.

Have Fun,

Yaniv,

TM HOTAS Cougars are hard to find these days as they are not longer produced. However, the TM Warthog is a worthy successor it ia pricey but worth it.
