March 11, 201313 yr Commercial Member I am very impressed by this level of detail but it begs the question... How many polys and how many maps is this? The entire VC is about 8k more than the PMDG NGX, most of the 'smoothing' is done with careful texturing and normal manipulation. Regarding maps, the entire center console plus a few other parts are on one map. Less than 10 textures for the entire VC including gauges, all textures can be displayed in 2048^ or even 1024^ and still look rather nice. I'm working around performance more than visuals, so it's not 'full-out' so to speak. Jordi Blumberg
March 11, 201313 yr Commercial Member Well, that's some awesome work. Really. (he said jealously as he picks up his phone to call HIS model/paint team!) March 12, 201313 yr Mr. Milviz, yoos guys got me with detail when you left the glove-less fingerprint smudges on the E's displays. So realistic when the sun shines on 'em it ain't funny. But if the screenie above isn't real, I'll eat my hat.
March 12, 201313 yr OMG... Looks incredible, glad to see another developer creating something "similar" to PMDG's style of reality. Definitely getting this one... Thanks for sharing!
March 12, 201313 yr Outstanding texture and detail in that shot! My OOM monster under my desk is waiting for it.
March 12, 201313 yr I can't wait for this and Milviz's 737s. Having a full stable of this awesome airplane will be a lot of fun. Good time ahead for the next few years, so many great projects. Ah my poor credit card. Randy Swofford

March 24, 201313 yr All looks amazing, but I can't imagine that if the level of detail that's shown in the CDU pic is reflected in the rest of the VC, that the aircraft will be anything other than a CPU hog! March 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member Looks just awesome indeed, I bet the performance will be better than with Wilco 737 too. Had to uninstall that Wilco one yesterday after it crashed my FSX again after switching views a bit, it seems to eat incredible amount of resources compared to its visual quality.
