July 4, 201312 yr We don't tell Ryan ANYTHING.... He has a long history of accidentally leaking stuff to the forum... He's like the Edward Snowden of PMDG! Considering you've reduced other developers rations for making an engine 3/100ths of an inch off the correct size, one can only imagine the punishment awaiting Ryan's next leak  Oh, and if anyone is needing a time filler, check out the band Poets Of The Fall! I love them nearly as much as my fiancée, but shh I didn't say that. Karl Brooker

July 8, 201312 yr Author I work at Boeing on the 787. We all know how it's been plagued with delays. Can you imagine if Boeing told ANA, Air India, JAL, or the other airlines lining up to place orders for new 787-8's, "we can't project a delivery date. You'll get your planes when they're ready". No airline would sign up. Instead, businesses set targets and work feverishly to meet that goal. Yes in business, release or delivery dates are often missed, but this doesn't mean you shouldn't work toward a goal. Also, setting a goal does note mean compromising the quality of your product. It's the same as any other endeavor you undertake in life. You set a goal and work to meet it. PMDG makes great products. That's not in question. But what I'm saying is the truth, and the fact that PMDG makes great sims doesn't change that. I understand where you are coming from, From my point of view PMDG doesnt state a release date because: 1-It will result in a project that must stick to a release date even if any problems arises. And therefore it will affect the quality of the product 2-Without giving a release date, look at how many threads just trying to push on the wheel and demanding them to release, imagine if they state a release date and for a reason they dont meet it?? It will be a mess, its a headache. Plus they could simply tell you; we are doing this project, and dont give u any update to speculate, and no previews, no videos, no screenshots, and release it suddenly, it will take them time to get product awareness, but its PMDG, it will sell, Boeing's new 787 or any new aircraft, is something very diffrent Airlines pays for their product so they have the right to demand release dates, and they do have an option to cancel te contract of it doesnt mean a certain date, its way dif process, we dont even do contracts with PMDG, dont complicate things, believe me its the best way to wait, and not give you release date, the moment u get the product in hand, you will feel something so good Moe ELkarout
