July 8, 201312 yr I love the t7 and so I couldn't wait to Fly it. The T7 you bought (assuming that was the one) it doesn't seem as if it is a T7 at-all! The key to being a loyal customer to PMDG is "patience". Once you have that, waiting for such a release as the T7 wont be as awkward and long.
July 8, 201312 yr I must say I really love pmdg products ( I have md 11 and 747) and I was looking forward to release of the t7 but I was waiting and waiting and waiting... And then I was frustrated and finally I decided to purchase another payware 777. I'm really sorry :( but you know I can't wait!!! I love the t7 and so I couldn't wait to Fly it. July 8, 201312 yr There are only two alternatives to PMDG's 777 that I can think of... 1. A full motion airline flight training sim. 2. A real 777. Ben Weaver SWA8485
July 9, 201312 yr There are only two alternatives to PMDG's 777 that I can think of... 1. A full motion airline flight training sim. 2. A real 777. Think of the other sim platform... fsx is not the only one out there. The other alternative is a real competitor. Kacper Nowotynski
July 9, 201312 yr The other alternative is a real competitor. I know the one ^_^ However, a competitor for PMDG isn't...really right. Lets be honest, many people have FSX OR X-plane......not both (or am I just stuck to FSX) -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
July 9, 201312 yr Well my alternative 777 can't really compete with pmdg 777 But may I ask you all a question: why does pmdg take so much time with the T7?
July 9, 201312 yr The one for X-Plane is supposedly really good. But from what I've seen from PMDG, the 777X will still be much better. There was a good one back in the (fs2002?) days...can't remember what developer but I loved it. Why are they taking so long? Because. Have some patience. The amount of time they're taking is one of the reasons why they're much better than CS or many other developers. Cheers, Julian Roschlau
July 9, 201312 yr Well my alternative 777 can't really compete with pmdg 777 But may I ask you all a question: why does pmdg take so much time with the T7? Captain RSR: "We could release the 777 to market today, and it would meet the needs and expectations of 95% of our users in about 80% of circumstances. To some companies in some industries- that might make good business sense. At PMDG, that would be an irresponsible lapse of quality control. We want our product to satisfy the needs of 99% of our customers in 95% of situations. Obviously- we are estimating here since there is no way to measure this accurately- but after 16 years of doing this we have a pretty darn good feel for when a product is accurate, complete and of significant quality." July 9, 201312 yr At this point I'd be happy with a 99% product they can continue to patch after release.
July 9, 201312 yr At this point I'd be happy with a 99% product they can continue to patch after release. Yeah, we understand. You keep repeating that. We know that you will be satisfied with a 99% product., and as you can see from the quote on the post above, PMDG isn't looking for perfection just 99% perfect, and the only ones that know when it's there is them. July 10, 201312 yr Yeah, we understand. You keep repeating that. We know that you will be satisfied with a 99% product., and as you can see from the quote on the post above, PMDG isn't looking for perfection just 99% perfect, and the only ones that know when it's there is them. When they release it, it will still be only 99% (if that) complete. There will be a patch. If not withing first 3 months then whnever they decide to release the -300ER Variant. Kacper Nowotynski
July 10, 201312 yr Maybe PMDG gave FS2Crew dev the SDK and they are going to release together? =) Kacper Nowotynski
July 10, 201312 yr Commercial Member No they haven't, I can assure you. We have done as much work as we can without the product [voice actors, regional and other preparation] . We get it at exactly the same time as you and not a moment before Alex Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK
