July 12, 201411 yr I have windows 7 ultimate and running a bit of an old rig set up with Gerforce GT 520MX 1GB on and i5 core and i havent had a CTD situation yet. but i had did some of the immportant modifcations before running FSX. and having it in the root drive. and as for x-Plane i had thought of it but many forms complained about the physics for helicopters. and stayed with HTR on my fsx as for P3D i watched hundreds of youtube videos. and i dont see much improvement. if u to get the best out of fsx. just keep upgrading to better hardware as it becomes avaible im on my 3 hardware upgrade in the past few years and getting good results out of it even with all the other add ons ive paid for through the years
