If anyone at PMDG reads this, please can these 2 topics be covered in depth with the tutorials.

 

1. Detailed fuel planning,weights and fuel burn etc, as in the NGX.

 

2.ETOPS / Polar operations. I believe the 777 FMC has the function to work out equal time points for diversions, would love to see that modelled and how to use it.

 

3.A flight across the Atlantic using ETOPS, and the NATS. I will be flying BA and base my 777 at London Gatwick EGKK, a tutorial to Orlando KMCO would be good.

Good requests... Im not sure about a straight long haul from the first tutorial though maybe from the second and from other users or Angle of Attack... All I need a simple  flight maybe EGLL to someplace close like EDDF or from Boeing factory (KPAE) to someplace nearby?

OR... They already made the tutorial flight and are waiting for FANCON to say more (teehee)!

The first tutorial is not a long haul - we're not going to make people sit in front of the computer for 12 hours just to learn how to fly the thing. It's going to be similar to the NGX tutorials - the second one (post release) will cover the long range ETOPS type stuff. I will be doing the full cold and dark start procedure in the first tutorial this time though since not having that was a constant complaint about the NGX's Tutorial 1.

I'll refrain from suggesting a 'city pair' for the 1st tutorial. Remember the NGX tutorial with the approach into Innsbruck, featuring terrain representation and the VSI?

 

The 777 tutorial flight's route will probably be tailor-made to those brand new fancy T7 features ...

I think I'll take mine between the two main bases on my first - being Heathrow & Dubai. That's if I'm not passed out somewhere from the shock LOL

Yes I think there is a difference between a quick flight to learn the systems of the plane, and a flight that needs to allow for ETOPS procedures and crossing the Atlantic with NATS.

Are you implying you fly routes, different from the tutorial route, in the NGX, for example?!?   :LMAO:
