April 29, 201313 yr Well, what you do is you take teh 60 bucks you need to buy the Q400, invest it into something that has a high payout, then buy them both. The Q400 is an amazing for short trips and the level of detail is in other words awesome. The 777 once out will top all of our expectations... April 29, 201313 yr Buy the QW Avro / RJ, save yourself $10, have just as much fun B) Mmm I do like the QW Avro, but don't feel it's in the same league as the PMDG J41 or the MJC Dash 8.
April 29, 201313 yr Mmm I do like the QW Avro, but don't feel it's in the same league as the PMDG J41 or the MJC Dash 8. Agreed. Those jets are too automated anyways, turboprops are the way to go! April 29, 201313 yr OK im finally in love with this plane after getting the controls sorted...just did flight from LIMW to LIMF which coincided with FedEx delivering a Saitek Cessna Trim wheel just before start.. ...and its one of those FSX WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW moments....when suddenly EVERYTHING becomes SO much easier.... ..climbing through the mountains with precise pitch control was exciting instead of terrifying (button trip is UP DOWN UP DOW..this is SMMOOOTH) ...im figuring my altitude problems are me not learning IAS and VS speeds as well as a I should....(im trying NOT to think of buying another of these amazing trim wheels for V/S......) so I had to decend manually as any use of AP with NAV also locked the alt in whatever the plane wanted to do...but Im not counting it as an aircraft fault until I mastered IAS/VS in this bird. even more exciting for me was that the flight coincided with the most amazing REX skies over the mountains and low layer of mist I have ever seen and I somehow pulled off a miracle landing whilst busy snapping away screenshots.....im a pro photographer I know what looks good will be posting later today along with some other highlights from other planes...will put the J41 pix here is there a forum just for screenshots? I seriously believe I have some classics DASH will have to wait and so will the AXE i bought 2 days ago....im mastering the J41 before moving on at this point Russell Gough SE London
April 29, 201313 yr Here are the screenshots as promised...will add more to album now Ive got the hang of taking them and flying....I know its just a 'button press' but its flying and getting the composition right as well for me! http://imgur.com/a/xSxn8#0 The J41 will not be getting early retirement for sure...forgot how good it looked on the outside been stuck in the cockpit too long... Nice shots. It is a nice plane. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
