I decided to invest in flightsim aircraft this weekend (as i hadnt invested in any great aircraft recently) and bought the Q400, NGX and the MD11. Loving the Dash 8, but love the NGX more. Ill be spending my time on these two first for a good while before I pull the MD11 out of the hangar.

 

Q400 is a good challenge to master re landings but great when you get it right.

Three amazing planes all worth the money.  Don't be surprised if the MD11 sneaks up un you and becomes your favorite..it is a real sleeper!  The NGX is very utilitarian but amazing and the Dash 8 well what can I say? It is unbelievably believable in every way.  Have fun and try to get some sun too! 

This weekend I splashed out on

 

"Chubu Centrair Airport" by Pacific Islands Simulations,

 

and,

 

"Fukushima Airport" by Wing Creation Inc

 

.......as I desperately wanted to do some ANA Wings Q400 flying in Japan.

 

Yup, very expensive hobby - but worth it!

 

And my brain completely seized up and I forked out 500$ on the PMDG 777 manual set

Does the manual set come with pictures also because I know that they are very secretive with their released shots so I've been wondering how in the manuals they show pictures that we have not seen before.

Spent $160 on a Saitek yoke and TQ and am about to spend another $150 on rudder pedals and another TQ  :blink:

 

This is, indeed, and expensive hobby.

Yeah and I wanted to drop some money on a new RC radio and the blade 120SR helo... And then get the Q400 and the TBM when it comes then the XP challenger that is now 64bit compatible. Ouch!

I'm also deciding on the Dell U3011 30'. Monitor. By all accounts it's awesome for flightsim. Imagine the NGX with that.

 

But it's pricey.
