Nice one. They seemed to have handled it well. At least they gave the passengers some chocolate for compensation.

As much as I dislike lids on cups...  I still use them all the time.

 

Would the pilots do an inspection on landing or is that left to the next crew?

As much as I dislike lids on cups...  I still use them all the time.

 

Would the pilots do an inspection on landing or is that left to the next crew?

I would imagine that the aircraft would undergo a thorough maintenance check ...

 

I must admit to being comforted with these pics...just imagine the wing loading during that episode.

I always think back to the 'wing bending' tests they performed on the 777 when it was being certificated - very impressive..

 

I only hope that they are using high tensile bolts to attach those wings ! :unsure:

I always think back to the 'wing bending' tests they performed on the 777 when it was being certificated - very impressive..

 

That's the test the A380 failed!!!
