Jeroen wow that looks pretty good. Especially Vietnam, not bad at all and thank you so much for these shots!

Ah, ok, glad you like it! I have no idea what it looks like in real life, of course... ^_^

Detroit it is. This is without UTX or any other ground related addon. BTW The weather in all my screenshots always is OpusFSX realtime weather.

BTW 2 I have no idea how all of this looked with FSX default. I almost regret not making a backup of it because now I can't check if things have improved or not. ^_^

Looks better than reality at this point, actually.

I've been flying around Italy today, and it's amazing how much like Italy it feels like, down to lines of cypress at the edges of fields....

Plus don't forget they have I think their "Flow" technology all around the world now. It really brings it all to life.

I say this without reservation of any kind: this is a must-have.

Is this for sale yet? I keep going to FTX site but cant seem to figure out if your able to buy it or not. By the way this is exactly what I need to make my sim everything I have ever wanted.

Nice shots Jeroen.  It's very true, and borne out in my own observations; the autogen annotation that Orbx has done with Global is really superb.  Some areas are more impressive than others perhaps - the areas where they've done lines of trees in between fields look amazing.

Beautiful shots! Thanks for convincing me to buy this product, it looks lovely.

To the OP, I have two questions.  First, I am assuming you are using REX textures for clouds?  They look fantastic.

Secondly, what are your nVidia Inspector settings?  Your graphics are so amazing even along the horizon, no blurries at all.

Great shots BTW.

Yes, REX for clouds. And OpusFSX for weather: also quite important!

I was using Word Not Allowed's nVidia Inspector settings, but recently I've been fooling around with it a lot, mainly lowering the FSAA. I found out that with lower settings and no transparency supersampling things still look okay... Why use high demanding settings if lower settings do the job just as good? Anyway, Google for Word Not Allowed's guide and you will find the settings I think I was using when I took these shots. ;)

Installed FTXG last Saturday afternoon (GMT) and have been flying at every opportunity, it feels like I am exploring a new flight simulator; fabulous pics by the way Jeroen.............

Me too, Word Not Allowed's guide working excellent for me with FTXG using DX10
