August 3, 201312 yr there is now buttkicker simulation have you tried this? do you feel your climbs and descents with this or is this only good for taxing and when you land / take off? That's what I have. You don't really feel climbs and descents. You really just feel engine/controls vibration, bumps etc. Taxiing is good, as is the takeoff run, and landings (particularly heavy ones like I do) are great. But I would strongly recommend pairing it with an addon like Accufeel, which accentuates the effects.
August 3, 201312 yr Buttkicker adds vibration, and its good when you're landing/taking off or rolling on the runway Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering
August 3, 201312 yr I just bought a 51" Samsung plasma tv at 1080 P ,and it looks pretty good with 1920 by 1080 resolution. What resolution do you get on the projector? Ron Ron Service .
August 3, 201312 yr Commercial Member I can attest on how good buttkicker is. I've got three: one for the chair, one for the throttles and yoke and a third on the pedals. With this type of set up the immersion is great. As mentioned you do get a real good ground effect but I can also "feel" just when I leave the ground and become airborne. In flight I get nice subtle vibrations in clean air, notice when I hit turbulence or when I add speedbrakes I can feel the vibration... very nice! August 3, 201312 yr Commercial Member I have three amplifiers. I can fine tune each one to get a good overall effect throughout my body. August 3, 201312 yr yes i am not using a screen, i am just using the wall, it is a off white colour so it suits me fine. Do you run it off one PC?
August 3, 201312 yr Author Do you run it off one PC? hi, i am using a pc instead of hooking up your monitor at the back of your pc, all you do is hook up the projector. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
August 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member Did you split the audio input to the buttkickers or do they all have the same audio stream? They all are connected to the same audio stream which has been split out of the PC audio.. if that's what you mean. Same source - split three ways. August 4, 201312 yr The 51" plasma Samsung smart 3d TV 1080 at 1920 by 1080 resolution was $799.99 at Future shop (Canada). With a long HDMI cable, the results are good. I think that very high resolution projectors would be out of my price range. Ron Ron Service .
