August 22, 201312 yr Commercial Member This is not on the topic above necessarily, but when the flaps are extended, the time it takes for the flap setting image to pop up on the EICAS is a little slow. It is off by a small fraction but I did notice in videos that it is just a little bit slower than it appears in a RW 77L sim or aircraft. August 22, 201312 yr Ryan, we have done the 747 long time ago while on maintenance and I was surprised by the time for flaps and gears and it was monitored by the maintenance clock ... so yes it seems long but I may be time needed. all the best. Phil.
