Sorry if this is answered already somwhere, can somebody tell me how the ECL will be controlled?

Simply hover the regular mouse cursor over the ECL screen and it will turn into the ECL cursor.

oh thats really cool... means it is not as an other competitor has with cursor keys

Yep the PMDG system is MUCH easier to use.

This is not on the topic above necessarily, but when the flaps are extended, the time it takes for the flap setting image to pop up on the EICAS is a little slow. It is off by a small fraction but I did notice in videos that it is just a little bit slower than it appears in a RW 77L sim or aircraft.

 

We timed it from video taken in the real airplane by one of our tech advisors - dunno what to tell you.

we have done the 747 long time ago while on maintenance and I was surprised by the time for flaps and gears and it was monitored by the maintenance clock ...

 

so yes it seems long but I may be time needed.
