International Sceneries

Featured Replies

Hello, with the awaited arrival of 777, I will be expanding my boundaries from the US. Because I haven't done so before, I was curious what this community suggests for international sceneries that I can use. Thanks very much!

flyTampa Dubai, Kai Tak and St Maarten will be a good start.

A lot depends on where do you want to fly it.

Thanks! I'm looking try a bunch of places. With the innovation of the 777 acceleration, I'll have no problems flying all around the world!

There are pretty sceneries all over the place. Personally I enjoy smaller airports. I have never flown to Heathrow for example - I rather frequent Gatwick or Stansted (777 wise these two work well).

only been to Amsterdam about twice, Frankfurt maybe once. I will fly to Luxembourg or Leipzig though (Yes, I think I will be more of a freighter guy - at least until ERs show up).

I am not much into Asia, except Kai Tak - but I know BKK was released recently that looks good. Budapest is going to come out soon - even if 777 is not a frequent visitor there. Prague is coming out eventually - the 777 is there relatively frequently, EK and KE.

I like the Greek Islands very much, but I don't think 777s are ever showing up there. Although the Russian ones are definitely usual in Turkey - Antalya is nice.

FlyTampa's Montréal, would that count? ^_^

Zurich by Aerosoft is another beautiful airport - for something a bit bigger Munich is also very good. Strongly support all the Flytampa destinations - beautiful airports for the 777

I suggest you check out the Mauritius scenery by Max Kraus available in the AVSIM library. Really excellent scenery package and it's free! http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=mauritius_fsx.zip&CatID=fsx&Go=Search

Ants Airports YBBN is also a great freeware package. http://antsairplanes.com

Personally though I'm US-based, in FS I fly a lot in Russia and the CIS. Lots of good freeware out there; the Russian 'avsim' site has a lot of cool stuff.

I only fly Europe with the Ngx. There are so many good airportssceneries of Europe. My favorites; barcelona, lisbon, Stockholm, Nice, athens and a few more. Amsterdam is my main airport.

All good sceneries, i like most aerosoft airports.

Oh yeah. LOTS of quality stuff. Back in FS9, I had a tour of Russia and CIS. Entirely free sceneries (maybe except one), went for 7800 miles over 16 airports.  That was the short version. The long version had extra 5000 miles and 10 airports.

Free, very high quality scenery of The Netherlands and several airports like Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Groningen to name a few.

FSX version doesn't have an EHAM yet, but it's on the way.

Not free but good (and with a similar name) is www.uk2000scenery.com/‎

EGLL, EGCC, EGKK and various other airports in the UK. Great for crossing the Atlantic back to the USA.

Take a look at FSDT, Fly Tampa, Aerosoft and Imaginesim. For other sceneries just type your desired destination into google and see if a scenery is available. If you want some insane fun try getting tropicalsim's buenos aires and aerosoft's frankfurt then fly the 777 between! 14 hours of joy :D
