PFPX - First Quick Impressions

How does this program handle coordinates for oceanic operations?  Are they formatted to FSX liking (only 5 characters long)?  If I want to build an oceanic flight plan, is it easy to "drag & drop" the route over a set or coordinates?

Thanks!

Has anyone noticed that SID/STAR waypoints are excluded in the exported FSX flightplans?   I know that technically it's not best practice to have them in the plan as the user should add these procedures in the FMC to the base route, but it poses a problem for two addons:  Radar Contact and Active Sky.   I don't own Radar Contact, but I have heard it is messing with users who rely on ATC reading these procedures in the submitted flightplans.   I use Active Sky, and rely on having the STAR waypoints included in the flightplan because Active Sky gives me wind information at these waypoints that I can input into the FMC descent winds page to obtain an optimal VNAV glidepath.

On a separate note, In PFPX, I have seen inconsistent use of SID/STAR waypoint depiction on the world map.  For one route I just did, all the SID waypoints were depicted, but some of the STAR waypoints were missing.   FSBuild was great in this respect.

I have Radar Contact and haven't had any issues with it yet.  Radar Contact doesn't do anything with SID/STARs anyway.

Are there any plans for them to add Opus FSX to the list of WX programs it can pull weather from?

Anyone can help me?

Whats the best or correct way for it?

When i create a flight, i need to compute it, to let PFPX calculate the Fuel needed, but then, i need to re-plan it, when i know what are the TOW and LW, that i need to enter in the Takeoff and Landing calculation in the Topcat function. So i need to compute, see the TOW and LW, and come back, enter it in the Takeoff and Landing options and then compute the flight another time. Is this way correct?

Or i need to open TOPCAT program alone? It doesn't work with REX wx.

And another, whe i calculate the Takeoff and Landing performance, in the OFP apperas only the Flaps config and Thrust, but not V1, Vr, V2 etc ... Why?

Just FYI the next build of FSGRW will be compatible with PFPX according to the developers message at the fly2pilots boards.

Look at the full weather report it gives all the winds info you need to add into the descent forecast.
