August 29, 201312 yr I might be missing something but has anyone figured out a way to export a .pln file to FSX. I can't find it. Exporting the route to the NGX works fine but I also need it in FSX as I use VOXATC. I'd hate to have to key it in. Thanks in advance. Richard Johnson

Just first highlight MSFSX(I don't remember exactly how it's written in their list but you get the point) instead of PMDG NGX. August 29, 201312 yr Thanks Kevin. I looked at the export list 5 times and didn't see it. I do now. Too long in front of the computer I guess.

August 29, 201312 yr Just did a 5 hour flight in the MD11 and it was spot on within 500lbs. Pretty cool to check the fuel burn enroute occasionally. I do find it odd that Opus is not an option to incorporate. Doesnt matter right now because of the free online weather updates. August 29, 201312 yr Looking forward to learning how to set up planes such as the B377, 707, 737-200 and A300B4 or even a P51
August 29, 201312 yr has anybody updated the AIRAC cycle cause i just did and it took about 20 minutes just to update the database which compare to the ngx is alot of time also when i opened pfpx it said that there is a new database and it needs to update but at the end it gave a number of outdated sids stars and waypoints should i delete them or not regards Faisal Altheyab
August 29, 201312 yr If you installed the 9000+ example real world flight plans, then yes it is going to take a while after the update because those 9000 routes have to be verified that they are still valid i.e. that all waypoints in the existing plan still exist in the new nav data. After I updated around 800 of those flights were no longer valid and I deleted them. Cheers, Andy.
August 29, 201312 yr I am also intrigued with this software. My question would be how accurate would the fuel planning and payload be with an aircraft that is not so accurate. Would it work well with Posky. CLS, Overland based aircraft addons or is it dependant on complex aircraft system addon on player's end ? Bilal Asif Khan
August 29, 201312 yr PFPX can run on a networked laptop. No need to keep it on the same rig as FSX. If you don't need the export and AI-traffic on your map, you'll probably don't even need a network. What about updating the navigation data? If one has NavdataPro like myself on the main computer that has fsx and you put PFPX on a non-networked laptop, is there a way to still update PFPX with the monthly airac's? August 30, 201312 yr How exactly does one update the Nav data? I looked all over the manual to no avail. A.J. Domingo
August 30, 201312 yr I can't currently get winds beyond the Aug 30 1200Z forecast. It says wx is online, but I suspect it's still using the data I downloaded on the 28th...anybody else? edit: indeed, when I compute a plan, the wind data says Aug 28 1800Z. What the heck?
August 30, 201312 yr I took the plunge and installed this software about 2 hours ago. Very very impressed with the level of detail  . The auto route function is awesome, and I still have the option to go in and customise any routes as I see fit! Just unfortunate I couldn't finish my flight, had a nasty CTD lol I know what's causing this problem so all is good. I'll try another flight at some point tomorrow. Can't wait to get my hands on the T7 and do some oceanic crossings  . Jaime Boyle
