August 28, 201312 yr Thomas, How did you save it to PDF. My only option is a txt file. Google for Bullzip PDF. Will give you an excellent freeware PDF generator. Regards, Frank van der Werff
August 28, 201312 yr Bullzip is the PDF printer I am using. After installing it, in PFPX choose print flight plan, then choose Bullzip PDF as printer.
August 28, 201312 yr Where to check with Eurocontrol? Here http://www.eurofpl.eu/eurofpl/validation/ or here https://www.public.cfmu.eurocontrol.int/PUBPORTAL/gateway/spec/index.html
August 28, 201312 yr Does it need to be installed in the same directory as FSX? I would prefer to install it on my laptop and not on my main FSX desktop. John Pipilas Win 10 - i7 2600k CPU - AMD Radeon R9 Fury X GPU

August 28, 201312 yr Thomas and Frank, Thanks for the response. I downloaded Bullzip but for some reason the printer driver won't install on my machine.
August 28, 201312 yr I'm absolutely loving this program, everything you need plus the VATSIM traffic and ATC map. That's cool. Is there any other integration with VATSIM, such as filing the created FP straight to VATSIM ?
August 28, 201312 yr Downloading as I speak, looks like Christian has addressed the server issue as he has added a dropbox link as a backup. A thought had just occurred to me, even though I have been craving this flightplanner for years, I wonder about it's usefulness to me. All my flights are copied from routes already built and used by the real world airlines through flightaware! But, I do see the value of the fuel planner! Fuel load is not something we are privy to on flightaware, so PFPX is going to be a big help in that regard. A.J. Domingo
August 28, 201312 yr That's cool. Is there any other integration with VATSIM, such as filing the created FP straight to VATSIM ? Yes, there is the ability to send it straight to the VATSIM pre-file website. All the fields will be complete except ID and password. However right now the VATSIM webservices are down...so it won't work until they get all their servers back up and running. August 29, 201312 yr My first impressions. Wow nice interface. Looking at all the features, codes to use, types to use for operations that we have no clue about, this program is far more advanced than the majority of flight simmers everywhere. While I think it will be the standard in flight sim planning in easy mode as it were, the majority will only have used 25% of its capabilities. Word of caution already from my mistake. When adding an aircraft, be careful whether you have set it to use pounds or kg. I was trying to figure out why the heck my ZFW didnt match my load planner for the aircraft. lol Just saying. August 29, 201312 yr What about IVAO? There is IVAO/IVAP export option (I assume for the client itself). I am not too educated about IVAO, but I was under the belief they didn't have a prefile system and it was all done through the IVAP client Regards,James White Aerosoft (Airbus X Extended/Twin Otter Extended/PFPX) & Majestic Q400 Beta Team

August 29, 201312 yr I have spent a few hours this evening setting up my airplane data base and creating several routes and flight plans both automatically and manually. There are a couple minor bugs I've run into and I'm sure will be fixed. Overall first impressions superb simply superb! Throw in the integration with Topcat and flight planning is fun again! August 29, 201312 yr Mmm. for any reason I can´t go in the integrated Takeoff/Landing performance tool with the 737-800 selected (are greyed out) but yes, after releasing the flight I can export all data to Topcat. With any other aircraft selected in Pfpx it works also within !
