ButtKicker Control

Question ... Do you have Butkicker?

We are contemplating adding a Butkicker interface (sound control) output for Butkicker devices and allowing the LWE to control the level of Butkicker turbulence, all coordinated with the existing DHM and Bump Aircraft turbulence.

Do you have Butkicker, or would you be interested in such a feature?

Just about to order it and this feature sounds promising.

Good, that will make at least two beta testers for the development cycle.

You and Lucasting who was asking about Butkicker in another topic.

Cheers

Stephen

Cool!

Key issue with buttkicker(FSX experiential wise) : Existing turbulence sound not distinctive enough. If Opus can have a module that allow ssome kind of software based amplification and control to the turbulence sound that sync with the aircraft shaking motion, that will be a big thumbs up! My wish...:)

Buttkicker adds the 4th dimension of immersion, with Opus weather turbulence sound sync, it will be a complete realism.

We have just been discussing this and the possible use of a dedicated audio output, separate from the normal FSX sounds, that we could output wave forms similar to the accelerometer data producing the DHM and Bump Aircraft motions. This is early days, we only started considering this after your post Lucasting, so I have got to do some research and start thinking about constructing bass sound waves from accelerometer data for instance.

I do agree with the above, it sounds very interesting.

Thanks Stephen,  that will make Buttkicker users very happy!

Lol ok sure I can do that if you want. I'll let you know when I get it

I have buttkicker and love it. Would love to see a turbulence feature!

Count another beta tester in if you want, sounds an incredibly good idea to expand the experience :) been using but kicker since January and now can't fly without it :O

OK, I'm convinced, I will start preparing things for the development cycle and keep you informed here.
