September 3, 201312 yr Continental ≠ United Perhaps he meant that Continental is now United and that it is a memory. We did the old true bare metal one. That new livery just does not say American like the shiny, metal red, white and blue birds. Are all the AAL 777s already with the new paint? No. The new livery was just unveiled a few months (or so my memory says) ago. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
September 3, 201312 yr No. The new livery was just unveiled a few months (or so my memory says) ago. Ah, great. So who cares about the new paint. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
September 3, 201312 yr So who cares about the new paint. People that don't care about the classics. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
September 3, 201312 yr We painted a fictional Continental already. Doing the AAL new one ASPA for both the NGX and T7 - we all love that livery here. We did the old true bare metal one, but its ugly. Can't wait!!! Thanks  Danny morales
September 3, 201312 yr I love the classics....although I still am open to the future Happy Flying! intel i5 2320 @ 3GHz ~ XFX HD7870 2GB Dual ~ 6 GB Ram DDR3 ~ 64GB SSD ~ 500GB HD ~ TR2 600W Thermaltake PSU ~ Saitek X45
September 3, 201312 yr Are all the AAL 777s already with the new paint? Saw a few of them in the new livery at Heathrow a month ago. Give it time, like all new liveries, it will grow on you, at least it has for me. A.J. Domingo
September 3, 201312 yr I see the new livery at work every day, and every day I want to puke my guts out. It looks horrible on the ERJ I see, and the 737-800, and the....wait, hold on...*puke* AJ Pongress
September 3, 201312 yr What can I say? I'm a child of the '90's. My favorite liveries are now and forever will be relics of the past. :( *cough*United*cough*American*cough*
September 3, 201312 yr Author +1 for the NGX737 as well. they already exist for the NGX! Mitch Brown Private Pilot | Aerospace Engineering Major
September 3, 201312 yr I like the new AA livery...it doesn't look as good up close as it does flying overhead though. As an employee I was reluctant at first but it's growing on me. The bare metal will look great as a throw back retro plane though....kinda like the 737 I see every once in a while with the orange stripe. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
September 3, 201312 yr +1 for the NGX737 as well. Both the American liveries (new and old) are available as repaints for the PMDG 737 NGX (-800) right here on the Avsim library. Multiple versions by different people. And have been for months. An "Old bare metal" American livery existed for the PMDG 737 NGX since release day way back in 2011! Continental was too. September 3, 201312 yr Are all the AAL 777s already with the new paint? All of the -300s are in the new paint. Actually they unveiled the new paint right about the time the -300s came on line so none of them ever had the old paint. I've seen a few of the -200s in the new paint so far. Tom Landry
September 3, 201312 yr Are all the AAL 777s already with the new paint? Not from what I have seen. Seen a few in the 'old' bare metal fly over my house the past couple of days.
September 3, 201312 yr Love the new livery. The old one was great but not up to par with 2013 imo. Jacob
September 3, 201312 yr For me I will sport the old AA livery on the 200,when the 300er is out that will be wearing the new livery, somehow I think it looks better on the 300er Bryan Richards "People depend so much on automation that they forget how to get the automation to work." B.W.
