September 29, 201312 yr The A350 is a knee jerk reaction to the 787; imo a straight copy. The only reason it exists is because the largest purchaser of airliners said he wasn't going to buy Airbus' upgraded A330 they wanted to "make" to compete with the 787. And again Airbus will basically give them away just to gain some market share against the 787. Must be nice to have three countries full of taxpayers to fund your airliner "business". You really don't know much about either aircraft if you think the 350 is a copy of the 787. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
October 1, 201312 yr If Airbus will not release their technical data to PMDG, then they will not release it to any other developers either. Myself being spoiled by PMDG quality would not buy one from anyone else. Thanks, Ron Thanks, Ron Fields
October 1, 201312 yr What about military aircraft such as the C-5 GALAXY transport :Hmmmph: Nothing sounds better than TF39's in action! Too bad the updated C5M's are getting the newer GE CF6 engines....now they'll just sound like the rest :( Chris Sunseri

PMDG is a good developer, but it is not the only one with the ability to source aircraft data. QW claims to have all the access they need for their upcoming 787. This translates to great news for simmers, hope this continues. Sent from my Mobile thing Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
October 2, 201312 yr But that generally applies to heavy iron. Would rather want to see some smaller modern aircraft done; some regionals I would absolutely love to see some more regional aircraft in fsx. Really ATM the only options we have is the JS41 and dash8 and it makes me sad :( Bob Kermin.

QW may have all of the access they need but I doubt it is but a fraction of what would be required by PMDG. Thanks, Ron Thanks, Ron Fields
October 2, 201312 yr Ron, I think you may be surprised by just how deep the simulation will be with FSL's A320. Name available upon request
October 2, 201312 yr Ron, I think you may be surprised by just how deep the simulation will be with FSL's A320. Agreed. It might (probably) even be ya know...above PMDG *gasp*

October 2, 201312 yr Leave the airbus to aerosoft and Boeing to PMDG. The next project is the 747v2 and then the DC-6. After that, who knows what PMDG will make. I would love to see like a PMDG 757 or 767. Or maybe a DC-10, DC-8, or maybe a MD-90 Leave the airbus to aerosoft and Boeing to PMDG. The next project is the 747v2 and then the DC-6. October 2, 201312 yr Commercial Member What makes you think Airbus won't release data to PMDG, or any other developer? It's just false information I believe, nobody so far has been able to show me actual source of information behind that rumor about Airbus not giving PMDG as much data as Boeing has done. Personally I believe PMDG hasn't even had any intentions to make an Airbus and this whole story about Airbus denying access to data has most likely no truth in it. IMO None of the above developers can hold a candle to the depth that PMDG does in a sim. Leonardo Maddog, FSLabs Concorde and many more have already reached the level of realism PMDG has in terms of systems and flight dynamics and I doubt they had access to any special data. In fact I'm quite skeptical about the whole story about any developer receiving some special restricted access data from aircraft manufacturers. I don't think they would really bother. October 2, 201312 yr VRS has reached PMDG levels on a Navy multirole fighter jet, even PMDG said its pretty much what they do but applied to a military aircraft. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
October 2, 201312 yr An Airbus A380 from PMDG would be heaven on earth. :Praying: Just love this big fat Airbus. But with the upcoming 747 V2.0 and the new T7, PMDG will give us an enormous selection of longhaul-routes. - René Mosek - Future Owner Of: 'The PMDG 747-400 V3' B)
