September 28, 201312 yr Actually, it was not invented in England. If anything then UK! But it was not UK either. It was invented in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is in between the UK and Germany and both countries used to speak DUTCH. Over time they just developed their own dialects/Language out of DUTCH which is why so many words are stil similar in all three languages. Like Beer - Bier - Bier. English was a west Germanic language that was "first" spoken in early medieval England. That's good enough for me. :smile: Therefore I demand you spell it like we do.
