October 10, 201312 yr Outside of the high end add-on sceneries, I use: - PFPX - Active Sky 2012 (Can't wait for Active Sky Next) - TrackIR and EZDOK I recently removed UT2 to focus more on performance. Regardless of the settings, UT2 just takes too much performance away at high density airports, even if I adjust the traffic percentage. My T7 is running very smoothly. October 10, 201312 yr I recently removed UT2 to focus more on performance. Regardless of the settings, UT2 just takes too much performance away at high density airports Yeah I removed UT2 as well. I will admit it is (was) nice to see the airport busy. However not only was the FPS hit not worth it sometimes at larger airports IMO, but the traffic got in the way sometimes. As for the topic I use. PFPX for planning FS Commander for looking at gates and taxiways. Active Sky for weather injection as well textures (have REX, but their SP2 fumble I uninstalled and bought ASE) Airport Enhancement Services for pushback Topcat whenever there T7 profile is done but worked well with it already support products. -Raven HarrisIntel i7 980X @ 4.43GHz | ASUS Rampage III | Corsair 6GB DDR3 2000MHz | 3 EVGA GTX280 | Corsair 1200 Watt | Intel 510 SSD (RAID 0)PMDG - 747-400/8iF | MD11/F | BAe J41 | 737NG 6/7/8/9 Hope ER/BBJ|777LR/FFlight1- Cessna Mustang
October 10, 201312 yr FS Captain Opus UT2- I've installed the DXI0 fixer and am running with ALL my slides maxed - UT2 included - the fixer is worth every penny Jay
October 11, 201312 yr PFPX REX (Textures only, no clouds) AS2012 (Weather and clouds) SHADE UT2 Dylan Charles "The aircraft G-limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular airplane. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no G-limits."
October 11, 201312 yr FTX Global DX10 (DX10 Fixer Installed) PFPX (Flight Planning) AS2012 (Weather Injection, networked) REX Essential Plus (Textures only) GSX (Ground Services) Aivlasoft EFB PFPX OFP on my Ipad (PDF, for time and fuel logging inflight) WOAI (Converted for FSX, keeping it down to 40% traffic) Waiting for MCE voice control (be sometime after SDK is out) Then will use Radar Contact for ATC Getting nice performance with the T7, except at some complex airports where FPS may drop into the teens, but bare-able for that short phase of the flight. Once in the air 30-50fps (framerate is unlocked on my rig; locking it just does not work for me). Rob Robin Harris
October 11, 201312 yr Right now I am running Opus, EFB and VoxATC. With every passing day I am thinking more about getting pfpx/topcat. I don't use topcat or PFPX, I use a free site called "sim brief" and get most of the same results as PFPX even for etops. To use the Airac features, you need to get a navigraph subscription like the other addons. http://simbrief.com/home/ -OPUSfsx and FSGRW, opus works and is better to me. -fs captain -radar contact and pro atc/x -gsx -woai, ut2, apha india group and united traffic team traffic files all at 100%

October 16, 201312 yr Author I gave in and picked up pfpx. I have used it for fuel planning and its nice to be able to create a flight plan much faster than I could before.
