Might pretty much spell the end of Aerosoft's Iceland X, but on the other hand it may well give a small boost to sales of Aerosoft's Keflavik X. October 29, 201312 yr I uninstalled Aerosoft Iceland X in anticipation of the ORBX demo but kept Keflavik X installed for now. we'll see how that works out. Stay tuned!
October 29, 201312 yr I'm making my foray into Orbx scenery (been using mostly MSE / MSX) and so far I am really really impressed with the whole organization top to bottom. The quality of the work, the responsiveness (and friendliness) of their support, and how much they contribute to the community (both freeware and commercially - even to products not their own) is just top shelf across the board. This is the right way to run a company and I plan to continue voting with my dollar in the coming months. Very excited about Iceland. Thanks Orbx.

October 29, 201312 yr Not sure if it is meant to be run without Global, Jon. :unsure: Wait, two separate versions. So that's what you've installed or did you accidentally pick the other one? If so, I think it relies on pre-installed Orbx items from Global which might explain at least a bit of mixup. Well, find your current and maybe backup scenery.cfg at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX. But also take a look into the Orbx forums since you might damage something with a rushed repair attempt. They offer support for their free goodies too, so perhaps take the time to write them. Had a great flight in my 172 until this ruined my experience and would like to know if anyone else has it.
