December 16, 200421 yr EPR bars do not move on my system either... the readout, higher up on the panel changes OK... Bert

December 17, 200421 yr A number of American Airlines F100's were recently purchased by Jets Go (Canada) and are now in service. Don't have the exact numbers (I am thinking about 20) but info is out there somewhere.Mark. Mark CYYZ
December 17, 200421 yr American is already out of Fokkers. They replaced their flights with MD-80s.I understand that one of the reasons to get rid of them was their low cruise speed.Leo
December 17, 200421 yr lol. I've never had so many voices yelling at me when I was on a normal, stabilized descent before. That "glideslope" guy sure is irritating! That said, great to have these nice little Fokkers back in my hangar.BlairCYOW
December 17, 200421 yr I notice that although there is a tail brake, no wing spoilers appear. Airliners.net shows wing spoiler deployment in several F70/100 shots--is this an option or just something PF chose not to model?-John
December 17, 200421 yr Have a look at the FAQ page on their support site.. the wing spoilers works as lift-dumpers and only auto deploy on landing, if armed. Bert
December 17, 200421 yr The wing spoilers are assigned to the 'wing-fold' action, so assign a key (although I'm sure everyone has already!), and you'll see them.No word on what happened to what looked like an awesome VC then? I shouldn't keep asking - after all its an outstanding package with or without a VC.
December 17, 200421 yr Thanks....I wasn't seeing them because like most IT folks, I read the directions and decided I'd stick with my old habits, and use the key command to arm the spoilers. You can either use the wing-fold based on what you've said--otherwise you must use the panel to arm the wing spoilers. The panel is more elegant since it's automatic on touchdown, and wing fold dumps lift "like there's no tomorrow" :)-John
December 17, 200421 yr Author Moderator A minor correction to the "Lights" section will assign the LOGO lights to the correct switch://Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing 6=taxi, 7=recognition, 8=wing, 9=logo 10=cabin...light.5=9, ... light.6=9, ...light.7=9, ...light.8=9, ...All three aircraft.cfg files should have light.5 through light.8 assigned to the #9 LOGO lights bus instead of #4 COCKPIT lights bus.I have no idea why the WING lights are assigned to the #3 NAVIGATION lights bus, and don't see any way to assign them to #8 WING lights bus.I must add that other than this very minor issue, this is an outstanding model package. Congratulations to the entire Project Fokker team for brilliant work! :) Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
December 17, 200421 yr Hey, Bill - what kind of engines does this one have? Now, I really don't care, which is why I'm bringing it up here. :)Seriously though, this is a very fine package. It is my fav "get in it and go" regional jet. My congrats to the Project Fokker Team as well.Best,Bill Browning(No banner) :)
