REX4 Textures

Featured Replies

I posted the issue some time ago in the REX forum, but the thread has been marked as "resolved". Clearly, that isn't quite true at the moment

@Christopher Low - Thank you for your inquiry.  They are complete, but we are behind on some code changes in regards to SP 4 for Texture Direct.  There are some features we are adding to benefit Weather Architect and Weather Direct when released.  In addition, our focus has been finishing up SP3 for REX Essential/Overdrive.  We found some fixes to textures there that needed to be redone since the release of P3D 2.4.

Once SP 3 is release - this week, we will be finishing up SP 4 and Texture Update #2 for Texture Direct.

With textures we have to install, open FSX/P3D, test, tweak, and do it again with each texture until they are right to our satisfaction.  Just takes some time.  Thank you for your patience.

Thanks for the update, Reed. I currently use REX Essential Plus, so I am keen to see what improvements have been made to the P3D water.

Does it give animation and white crust (animated) in P3D V2.4 WATER?

Or Are we still waiting for LM to fix that issue.

Thats the thing.

That's what appears to have been suggested, Manny. I am curious to see the end result....

Ah Thank you.

Because of OOMs, I am forced to use low resolution textures and am not able to see all the wonderful glorious puffy clouds of REX.

But the animated waves in P3D would help a lot
