approaching Geneva at dusk

--------------------------------------------------

That sky....wow....great shot!

Again indeed. I finally had enough of all these x plane pictures.... So I ordered it yesterday. I've been missing out on the party for too long

You will love it...there is a 'get-to-know-it' period, coming from an MS product.  Not a high angle, up the hill...but after about a month, you will be blasting around the cockpits, and creating, adjusting on your joystick and other equipment like a  pro....  I'll enjoy any screenshots as you tool around your new XPX world...  Be sure to go through a lot of the recent, and older XPX forum posts, to see where you go for freeware, payware, and what programs a lot of us, have added to the mix....  You will be firstly overwhelmed by the amount, and choices....  Finally, you came in at a good time, as XPX.30 is supposed to be a hinge-pin v. release, when it comes this year....

Enjoy!

I also took to XPX 10.25. It's amazing, and I can never go back to FSX even with the lack of AI.

Everything else makes up for it and more!

It took me about 1 month to adjust from FSX but after that period of learning is over, you reap the rewards!

All very true <_<. Learning something new is always kinda "hard" - even if it's actually easy after getting used to it (like the multiplication table) ...

My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...

Indeed- unlearn what you have learned. This is not FSX or FS9 despite my best efforts over the past week of new ownership to try and work it like those sims..

This is a completely different animal.

A lot of my key commands are the same to what I'm used to but the rest is all different.
