I think iconic tail is the goal of most, but for financial reasons, most don't get it.

I wil try to see my first aurora in FSX!

Next time it's cloudy i.e.(weather conditions!) I bet you won't be able to see the Aurora.

 

But if the correct conditions exist (solar storm, around 2 days before), the aurora will be there, clouds or not... fly above the clouds and you will see it...

 

Of course, if you are below the clouds, you will get to see nothing, aurora or not :)
