April 6, 201412 yr I see what the problem is now. As an experiment, I deleted the Avsim forum from my list of sites in the main Tapatalk menu on my iPad. Then, I re-entered "avsim" on the search menu. Now, unfortunately, I am locked out. If I try to log in, I am never presented with the user ID and password prompts. Any attempt to log in will immediately show the "access denied" message, and from that point on, any further presses on the TT "Log In" button have no effect at all. In other words, a TT mobile client that has previously successfully logged in and stored its login information can continue to access the Avsim forum, but anyone starting fresh with a new or updated Tapatalk client will be booted from the server before they ever get a chance to log on for the first time. April 6, 201412 yr Not sure if Tom has done something, but I'm logged into tapatalk now. I followed the link at the top of the avsim page for "open in app" after I was logged in on the browser and it took me to avsim in tapatalk and I was able to login via tapatalk. April 6, 201412 yr I feel a tad stupid, Ryan. "The link at the top of the avsim page" ... I can't find it. Where is that exactly? Thanks for helping. April 6, 201412 yr its the link or Tab on the tablet when you pull up the Avsim website. Not the link here at Avsim which is what you were thinking right? ZORAN
April 6, 201412 yr I found the link on my Android phone. :-) On the iPAD it is just not there. That's what makes things so complicated.... But the link on the Samsung just generates another error message. I guess I need to have a break... All other forums are back working and I will try AVSim again in a time. Thanks for all the help! April 6, 201412 yr Author Okay guys... I am turning off the blocker for 24 hours. Get in with whatever mobile device.

April 6, 201412 yr Moderator Thanks a lot, Tom! While I use TT occasionally, there are many who use it and also thank you for allowing access in order to 'Re-Log In'. Alan
April 6, 201412 yr Author I had to turn back on the blocker as we immediately were inundated with bots and god knows what and we 503'd for a while.
April 6, 201412 yr Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Went to access AVSIM on tapatalk this morning and it wouldn't connect again, even though I'd succesfully logged in before. I suppose I'll just have to view the forum on my tablet's browser. "If you can't solve and equation with calculus, you're not using enough calculus" - A wise friend
April 7, 201412 yr Tapatalk seems to be working again now, not sure what's changed. "If you can't solve and equation with calculus, you're not using enough calculus" - A wise friend
April 8, 201412 yr Tapatalk seems to be working again now, not sure what's changed. Working fine on my iPhone, which had already been configured with user name/password. Still no change on my iPad though. The site will never present the option to log in, so any attempt to connect to the forum is automatically rejected by the server. I think at least part of the blame for this lies with the latest version of the Tapatalk app. There is no way to pre-configure it via the user interface or menus in order to enter and store log-in credentials for a given site. (Without actually being connected to the site). Obviously those credentials ARE stored within the app when a site has been successfully accessed in the past - but I see no way to re-enter or change that stored data. April 8, 201412 yr Author Jim, that is absolutely correct. I have turned off the blocking and will leave it off for a while. All of those that have not logged in with Tapatalk and saved your log on credentials, please do so now.
