February 14, 201412 yr Started this for those of us having stutters after the 2.1 update. I gottem. Cant get rid of them. See my specks. fsx runs great. Wanted to move to p3d .
February 14, 201412 yr Denny, start from the bottom up. put all your autogen to sparse, antialiasing to minimum, fxaa off, shadow quality to low, tessellation off, turn off all shadows, cloud draw distance 70nm. if that improves it, go one notch up with antialiasing. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict

February 16, 201412 yr I did a fresh install for 2.1 and I´ve got stutters, blurries, and very bad fps which jump around. I tried everything that came in my mind but 2.1 stays unflyable :-( Posted in the LM forum, but I can´t imagine how any help could look like. Don´t know what to do, switch back to 2.0? ... no idea...

Did you try what WR269 suggests (delimiting FPS) as well as getting rid of affinity mask? As soon as I tried that, sputters were a thing of the past. Mario Di Lauro
February 16, 201412 yr Hi Mario, yes I did, unlimited frames, fresh cfg (no affinity masl, etc) - no luck :-(

February 16, 201412 yr You Hackwell guys need to go back to theses Jurassic Ivy Bridge CPU's. Just kiddin. ROFL im on sandy bridge and it runs prepar3d like its nothing. my gpu however, thinks the apocalypse is coming. haha. For me this is what worked. i turned off HT on bios and add affinity mask to cfg. lock fps with inspector to 30 or 60 and set p3d fps to unlimited. also try tesselation off. and lastly go ahead and try latest graphic drivers it cant hurt. additionally try putting in the inspector vsync to "vsyncmode flipinterval 2" AKA 1/2 vsync. hope it helps.
February 16, 201412 yr Did anybody experiment with the "maximum pre-rendered frames" parameter in NI? I'm just checking with increasing and if it change anything. Difficult for me because I don't have stutters at all. Spirit
February 16, 201412 yr I have a fresh 2.1 install. Other than FTXGlobal, no other addons. I have noticed the stuttering which is significantly noticeable when the fps is locked. Once moved to unlimited, the stutters disappeared. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
