Hi Chas,

i am on the latest P3D build,

as a Dev i use three of the four major platforms SimStarted cater to,

I’ve been an avid SimStarter user for years now, I can’t do without it today!

it is one of the few application produced with true spirit of sharing and community help,

the Dev behind the application has been very very responsible and responsive to our requests for improving the tool over the years,

NG is the result of literally years of Dev level familiarity with Sim and every aspects of it;

to the point that is shocking the amount of work put into this amazing piece of software no simmer should be without,

Okay, here's one for you. I am using P3D v3.2. I used simstarter yesterday for the first time. Created a profile and it started the sim and everything was fine. Today I use it and it started the sim and the sim went to running as a background app. I closed simstarter and started my P3D and it opened ok. Tried simstarter again and again the sim ran as a background app. When I first started simstarter today, it did update to a newer version. Don't know if that had anything to do with this.

By updating today, can I assume that you are using SIMstarter NG and not the freeware version?

If so, I would suggest jumping over to the SIMstarter forum on Aerosoft since that's the official support forum.

While Pero visits both forums,  you'll find more information regarding the payware version there.

I've had this issue with FSX, even before using SIMstarter but don't know anything about P3D to help.. sorry.

I do have the pay version and what happened is I started the profile I created and changed the aircraft and did not click save. When I did save, it worked fine.
