Go to the trackhat.org website and click on the FAQ page. Download their software Open Track and the videos will show you hot to setup. Only a couple of options required.

Potential Prepar3d V3 Clue in FSUIPC Log 4.942 Release
Martyn Pearson replied to Skywolf's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
v2.5 in terms of anti-aliasing and OOM doesn't feel (not very scientific I know..) like a good place to leave the v2 line. I feel with like for like hardware its not delivering a nice graphical look that FSX would in dx10 for the same hardware. I can accept tailoring sliders to your system but the AA is terrible if you can't run high levels of SGSS. I'd feel more than happy to wait months / years form some v3 goodness if those two where resolved. -
I think the key things is a point of difference. What does your VA have that others don't offer. That's the only reason to stay and not float around creating your own variety as a pilot. A route network and fleet are not enough. To gain mass popularity without offering something very unique in the software / website department, I think the only way to be a VA of any volume is have a great community. That will make people stick. Not very easy to get going though..

I have a 34UC97 and your thoughts are correct. To have the same performance in say P3D with the same AA quality you might need to bump your card, making an expensive monitor purchase even more expensive. I run a GTX 760 OC and its not enough to have any kind of SGSS AA in P3D. Its a lot of pixels to sort out I guess. The wide FOV etc is definitely the better option compared to cost / performance on a 3 screen fish eyed FSX setup imho.

I don't see how those two screenshots are "apples to apples" It really needs exact replica screenshots with everything the same the prove your point. The lighting is different, hell.. everything in terms of being a true test looks different. Reading the thread it appears you want us to take your word for it but are not prepared to prove it. Either way is fine with me, but you do invite criticism of your claims and methods if you are going to repeat the claim and not prove it. My opinion is AA in P3D is rubbish for me in 2.4 and 2.5, consistently...

No 64-bit P3D coming according to Orbxs' John Venema
Martyn Pearson replied to Gordon Hutchison's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
The irony of his comments about someone else having to spend money and resource making him some conversion tools.. which if they even did (silly move) he would use and pitch you 15 upgrades and a lovely story of it how it took him the past 15 years to create all new products and charge you 10x what you most likely paid for your new 64bit P3D. Oh and of course no upgrades, its a new platform </sarcasm> Maybe someone who is exploiting the market to the fullest at the moment would just prefer things not to change for as long as possible.. -
SIMstarter for FSX and PREPAR3D (formerly FSXstarter)
Martyn Pearson replied to Capt. PERO's topic in SIMstarter
Hi Peter, Thank you! Just found that file and it working. Likely not the place - but I think this program is great, really good for testing new settings to get the best out of FSX. A feature I would love to see is in the "Startdefinition" tab, a check box that allows you to check "Prompt for Aircraft / Airport / Gate" so that when I click stat on the profile, it loads straight to the gate with my aircraft waiting. I guess you could use a saved flight, but this would require lots of versions, and some payware don't like them. Thanks anyway - great work! -
SIMstarter for FSX and PREPAR3D (formerly FSXstarter)
Martyn Pearson replied to Capt. PERO's topic in SIMstarter
Hi Peter, That was my guess from the error message. The problem is the error dialogue box comes up, and if you click ok, it just repeats, and repeats, and repeats... So I cant actually get any input to that screen. The value in my fsx.cfg file does have a value by the way. Can I edit the SimStarter file manually somewhere? Thanks, -

Can PMDG enable FMC control via Internet IP address?
Martyn Pearson replied to Robert McDonald's topic in PMDG General Forum
Hey klamal, I guess what I really meant was that there's no evidence or supporting comments to say how the app works, but by 'Tabs' posting that message, its put doubt on the product, when he hasn't actually proved there to be anything wrong here. However, that post my now put people off buying the app, and that means the guy the created something the community want, will potentially lose sales and reward for his effort. If PMDG posted saying, we have investigated and the way this app works in violation. Then so be it. But they didn't. It's not beyond PMDG as a software company to investigate first, and then to make an educated post. I guess I feel defensive for the guy, as the app is a good example of what can be done and great development for our hobby. B)- 159 replies

Can PMDG enable FMC control via Internet IP address?
Martyn Pearson replied to Robert McDonald's topic in PMDG General Forum
It is a great app, and clearly has support. Not really a helpful post from 'Tabs' who intentionally, or by mistake just sounded bitter that someone's done a good thing and it wasn't PMDG. A great example of the community showing what they would like, and not being told. Great solution for cockpit builders and the rest of us!- 159 replies
